If those guys move over its a hat, bag, and clothing deal. Cobra clubs are just for the masses. They just don't have a tour caliber club in its arsenal. Yet.

Man, thats bs. They could make a tour player a driver easily if they wanted to. Im glad they are on tour again. I heard they got Ian Poulter too.

Will adidas still make Poulter pink striped shoes if he jumps off the TM wagon?

I also heard that Kevin Na is going to Cobra. This is from my source at Titleist.

I dont know if thats true.. he may put a cobra item in the bag but he's alredy under the Acushnet umbrella of Fortune brands. the Geoff ogilvie, JD, John Holmes signing make more sense. it fits their persona.

I think most people forget that cobra is part of Acushnet, who make Titleist clubs, if they want they would have the capability to produce some serious clubs. I suppose its a bit like Pinnacle golf balls, you rarely see a 'player' using them because of the name. wonder if you put Titleist (who make pinnacle balls)on a Pinnacle ball and asked a 'player' if they could tell the difference between it and an NXT? I'm not sure, sorry for waffling...

I think, no I hope that he will finally be able to wear more of his self designed clothes or Lindeberg stuff, he'll find some shoes.....

We tried something like this some time ago, and yes I could tell, which means that pros will definitely be able to recognize the stone sample from Mars. But sure there are ball models that are difficult to differentiate between.

Self Designed clothes?!?!?!?

I like Poulter a lot, but I do not like the sound of that. Oh well.

Sounds like Titleist is serious about growing Cobra. I think that's great. I mean, if they (Acushnet) have so much going on in club design that they do not want to dilute the Titleist line even further with 4 new models a year, this makes perfect sense.

Aloha everyone.....

This might clear up some of the rumors..........or make more..........

Look for John Daly to sign with Cobra Golf........

Many Titleist guys will play Cobra Bafflers..........in my opinion the best Hybrids in the world.......

As far as Cobra not having "tour" quality equipment. That's pure BS.

The X-Speed driver is Awesome. If you have not had the chance to hit it please do.

If you have hit it you know what I mean.

The X-speed fairways are a little closed but remember. If the tour guys don't like that they can always play a Titleist.

The Baffler is the best Hybrid in the world.....

The Forged CB's are a great iron. very similar to 690.CB.

As far as Putters who would play anything other than an SC..........

Remember all guys that play Titleist will be able to play Cobra and all Cobra guys will be able to play some Titleist.

The best of both worlds.............DEMO COBRA you'll be amazed.................

yes kevin na..

"Cobra is excited to announce that we have signed 5 tour players to the Cobra

staff.

Chris Tuten has joined our team from Callaway as Director of Cobra Tour

Promotions . . . and has done an outstanding job in working with the

players to consummate the partnerships.

Here's the list: Ian Poulter, Geoff Ogilvy, Kevin Na, Camilo Villegas and

John Holmes.

The Cobra partnerships are full staff - - clubs, bag, head wear (all

players will have the Cobra brand on the front of cap with the exception of

Kevin Na (Cobra logo on side of cap and right front chest).

Again, our strategy, player profiles (including "what's in their bag"),

schedules and our planned marketing efforts will be presented in detail in

a few weeks.

We are still working on getting all necessary Cobra clubs in their bags . .

.. and believe we will be successful by end of Feb. at latest (Geoff and Ian

are not playing our driver at this time).

We are not communicating the details of this effort with the press (there's

no need to).

Hopefully, you'll see Geoff this weekend at the Mercedes Championship

representing the Cobra brand.

We're confident that this effort will represent yet another key step in

taking Cobra to the next level.
