This is my first post and allow me to say this is THE best forum when it comes to golf. Now on to my question. I am currently avg. around 83-88 when I play, I have x16's right now, but now I am looking to getting a forged club. I was wondering what would be the best fit for my game. The Mizuno MP 30, MP 60 or Titleist 735cm. If there are any other suggestions, they would be well welcomed thanks!!!

Well...In your average score, what is your strength? All 3 models you named are different in their offerings. The MP-30s are very forgiving with a slightly larger clubhead, while the MP-60s are a great blade with a cavity which could appeal to anyone. The 735's were designed around better players, of course fading from forgivness to playability. If your contact with irons is noramally well, I'd recommend the 735's. Clean looking, and very solid. I'm partial to Titleist. The MP-60's are great though too. They feel as good as an iron can.

735!!

The MP60s do feel good, but I am very satisfied with my 735 chromes knowing how much design went into making each club head. the progressive sizes, soles, and lengths are outstanding.

MP 60S...

because mp 30 hv feel of blade, but slightly forgiving. but it is not as forgiving as mp 60 because it's got smaller cavity...

same story with 735s,

because it is combo set, and pw-8 are blades and others are cavity...

and most amateurs have trouble that they can't fully control their short irons, even though it is very important to take control of your short irons..(if that makes this any sense...)

so my vote is mp 60

hope this helps~!

I was surfing around on the site when I notice that titleist will be coming out with the 755, which are suppose to be replacing the 804. Has anybody heard anything on these and would this be the first step towards going to a forged club. Or should I make the leap and get the 735. Im looking at the 735 because my wedge play is good, from 150 on in im on the green, so I think the muscle would be great in that aspect, but how are the mid and long irons??

Most people don't need blades or even a combo set. I know I'm a hypocrite because I have MP-33's, which are great clubs, but I regret that decision and I just can't rack up the courage to tell my dad that I want to put them away for a while till I get better. The reason you don't need blades is because we don't shape the ball all that often. Look at the tours. Heaps of pros are using cavity backs and if only some of them use cavity backs then most of the amateurs should use cavity backs.

I have always stayed away from Titleist irons because of their weight are adress and appearance at adress. The best thing you can do for yourself is to try them all out. I would recommend the MP-60's because theyare an all rounder.

The 775's look good, especially the long irons, (really a shinier version of the 804) but if you're buying a set the combo offering is great from the feel and technological aspect.

I was just looking at the new hot list from golf digest and while they do have the 735, and mp-60 on the list; however the x tours are the editors choice. With that being said, which of these sets of clubs should i spend the tax return on?? :birthday:

In that article, they commented on the looks of the 735's, and I definetly support them.

This weekend, I just went to hit the 735 and the MP-60. Both were great clubs, but I am leaning towards the 735, unfortunately they did not have the chrome version, just the SS. So I want to hit the chrome version and compare that to the feel of the MP-60. Anyone have any comparison between the two on feel??
