T.P. Mills Prototypes

Second try!

(Sorry, my last attempt at this post apparently blew up). I wanted to share a few pics of my two T.P. Mills prototype putters that arrived this week. I'm very pleased with both, and I'd like to reiterate what others have mentioned on this forum-- David Mills is making putters as good (if not better!) than anyone else out there right now, and he was a pleasure to do business with as well.

One putter is a 342g Soft Tail, and the other is a 356g Tradition. Both are 304 stainless, have a 3/4 offset, and are 34" long. I haven't had a chance to try them out on the green yet, but after a few nights of carpet putting, I feel like the Soft Tail is definitely going to be my gamer. Although, the heavy weight and balance of the Tradition could work out pretty well too...I'll have to see!

Glad to see the repost. I kept clicking to see it last night to no avail! Very nice pics, and a very nice set of putters. Usually I at least wait a bit before looking to replace one but to each his own. :birthday: Can you throw up a pic of some faces--very interested to see the heel transitions in both.

 

So. . . likin' dem Mills putters are yeh? I have a strong feeling that there will be more than a couple TP Mills by David in wrx'ers bags this year! Congrats on a pair of more than perdy putters! :birthday:

Let me assure you, 2006 is going to be a banner year for the T.P. Mills Co.

 

There are some new putters in the works and Gold Digest put a T.P. Mills putter on their 2006 Hot List.

 

I am going to be selling t-shirts beginning next week to promote the company.

Just wanted to jump into a Mills post...since I was able to use mine finally in Florida.....AWESOME!!!!!! I couldn't believe the putter when I first saw it.....and it feels soooo good! Those protos are awesome looking too....I can't wait to order another from David...I already have a design in mind based on my current putter.

Here are a couple of face pics per request. The Soft-Tail has the most toe-hang, has a little smaller head, and has no sight dot or alignment line. The Tradition has the sight line, and is a near face-balanced, anser type head. I'm in love with the Soft-Tail after a few nights of carpet putting-- I can't wait to get it on the course! I'm still trying to decide what to do with the Tradition...
