If you align the putter correctly you shouldn't be able to see the red dot.

yes i would imagine so...but a dot behind a stick seems to broad of a concept to own...

 

they probably specificaly have the two white lines framing the red dot patented...

scotty has used these “alignment dots” on his centre-shafted prototypes for quite some time now. it would be interesting to see who came up with the idea first - SC or SeeMore.

seemore had them in i believe 99 when payne stewart won his major, so maybe scotty had them before that? who knows

This alignment aid will never come to market. He would get sued into oblivion. I just forwarded this link to my boys at SeeMore...I imagine there will be a "letter drafted" in the next few days to ask Mr. Cameron to "cease and desist."

 

Overtly infringing on someone else's copyright is just plain irresponsible. What a fraud....

Sued into oblivion? That's ridiculous. He never got sued over the Red X with the same alignment aid. It's a completely different style of aid anyway. Like somebody else said, it's just red dots, no white lines framing it. Who was the first to put a sight line on the flange of an Anser? I don't think everyone with a sight line on their putter has gotten sued. Cameron gets blasted around here for being unoriginal and everybody then asks for a center shaft and the prototypes (which some of have the same alignment aid) go for $600 on Ebay, so he does what everyone asks and now he's gonna be "sued into oblivion". Its ridiculous.

Yes I know in golf everyone "borrows" ideas from each other, but I think there is a point when its crosses into infringement and in my eyes this has.

Cameron has been using this technology ever since the Red X center shaft to the Futura Phantom Mallet center shaft. He was obviously "inspired by" Payne Stewart's US Open win when he thought up these putters. All I am saying is, why trash Cameron only now for ripping off See More when he has been doing that ever since he started his Red X franchise? Most people here are past the "Cameron-rips-off-other-people's-ideas-because-he-has-no-new-ideas" stage. They have learned to accept that as fact and live with it.

That's a blatant stealing of the SeeMore M1 and its patented Riflescope System.

 

I hear a lawsuit coming.

 

Any respect for Cameron heightened with the new lineup just went out the window -- again. I thought he tried this with the Red X but stopped. He's sunk lower than toilet level if he is not paying a license fee.

...says the seemore fan boy! like stated, he's already been using these type of alignment aids for quite a while now. they would have already taken action.
