Good Afternoon fellow golfers,

This is my first post and I really enjoy reading and seeing pics of some of the guys I have played with. I want to thank all of you that have supported me on The Big Break and in my career. I have received many great emails from people like you from all over the world. It is amazing how powerful the show has been. I wish I played better that last match against Paul but as we all know golf can be cruel to us sometimes :birthday: I hope you all continue to follow my career and watch my ups and downs as I battle in this great sport. If you havn't already, I invite you to take a few minutes to look through my website that I created. TJValentine.com. I wanted to put the show in my words from week to week so people knew what was really actually going on. I also talk a lot about the game of golf and my passion for teaching and growing this great game. Thank you again your support has been very much appreciated!

Sincerely

T.J. Valentine

Really enjoyed the show. I thought it was the best Big Break to date. Good luck with your career as being a Golf Professional can be tough.

Lol yes, I will have to agree with you about the next show. I am looking forward to it. I am currently seeking sponsors for the next couple of seasons. I have had a fair amount of people come to me about financially supporting which is huge but not anywhere near what I would need. This game is so hard to do it without any support. I signed an agreement to play Taylor Made which is good. I also do a lot of teaching, which is my passion and love the fact that I have a part in growing this great game. Since the show in June I have changed my swing for the better, more one plane now. Got my posture fixed which was my nemises. Also been on a great strength, flexibility and balance program that has been my focus the last month or so. I have been booking a lot of golf shows and corporate clinics. I have a golf show thats pretty entertaining. The next big show I am at is the National Golf Expo in Boston. I'm looking forward to a great 2006 season teaching and playing.

Hi Ranman, yeah I am biased but I would say it was the best to date too :-) but this next one looks pretty good. I am a fan of golf no matter what it is. Yes I agree with you 100% being a golf pro is not easy but it is a perpetual challenge. I love a challenge and wouldnt change a thing!

HI, I think that is great that you are in the program. I will be honest with you it is tough to get through it. Just stay focused and do your bookwork the rest will come. How old are you? Where are you from? Personally and I'm biased but teaching is the way to go. You will get so much enjoyment out of helping someone play the game better no matter if they are a tour pro or a 30 handicap. Also if you stay on the teaching side you will get to play more. You will have to pay your dues at first as an assistant which is not glamorous (trust me I know) but it does pay off. My best advice for you is to work closely with a highly regarded teaching professional in your area. Have him become your mentor. You will learn so much more from those experiences than you will reading those pga manuals. Plus it is a great resume builder. Drop me an email if you have any other questions.

Hi Steve, I recently signed an agreement to play Taylor Made. Its actually nothing different from what I have been playing. Here is my set as of today. Driver 425 TP the new RE*AX 75 shaft. 3 wood R7 TP graffaloy blue x. 19* Rescue Duel TP hybrid Diamana H x. 4-PW RAC TP , 52 56 60 RAC satin 6.0 shafts. Putter is up in the air right now. I have an old Cameron that I used early in the show (when i was making putts lol) but I have a mentor sports tech Duet coming that I am looking forward to trying. I am also in the market to change up my shafts (Accuflex could be a possibility) Also working with the ball situation. Have played pro v x for years but now must play a Taylor Maxli brand ball. I do like the Black Max very similiar to the x but I am looking forward to the new Taylor Made ball that is coming out soon.

Great to see you on the site TJ, and TBB4 was excellent. You had my support throughout the entire show, and I believe you have a great game. I liked your attitude about the game.

Hi Guys, thank you for all the great posts! It is awesome how great a community golf is with so many great people.

Hi, well I dont know about a celebrity, i'm just a golfer like everyone else on here. I enjoy playing and teaching this game. Chasing a dream is pretty cool too!

Yeah the posture change was very important for me to keep my swing in sync. It has gotten my swing on a single plane which has increased my square face at impact. There are many great players out there with not so perfect posture but for most of us something as simple as the set up will make a huge difference in ball contact.

Hi Dan, keep working hard with your playing. I hope you use your skills to get yourself possibly a scholarship for college. Always remember that golf is just a game, if you treat it any differently you will lose your passion for it. I have been playing well lately but taking a little time off to work on the swing and more importantly my strength and conditioning.

If anyone is in the Plymouth Mass area during the spring please do not hesitate to stop in Pinehills and say hello!

teaching pros around Michigan that are working at high end places are as busy in cold months as they are in warm months. Modern facilities have garage (bay door) w/ radiant heat, and you swing indoors in the heat. The balls fly out into the snow covered range.

V1 software with multiple cameras etc. Never miss a beat.
