Does anyone else have anymore info on the difference between these two blades? I'm interested in the Bridgestone lines but am trying to decide which to try.
As said above the J33 blades have a longer hosel that a lot of people did not like. Many reviewers said the longer hosel threw the balance off on the clubs. The j36 blade is quite a bit easier to hit then the j33. I use to have a set of the j36 blades and I really could not tell the difference in feel between my beloved j33cb and the j36 blades in the shorter irons. (6-pw) The reason I no longer play them is I lost all most a full club on distance when swinging the blades. If it means anything to you I liked the j33 blades also. The sweetspot is a little closer to the hosel and had great feel. The negative is a mishit will cost you in lots of distance compared to a player's CB.
Substantial differences, much shorter hosel, different head and muscle shape. Much more centered sweet spot on the J36 versus a heavily heel biased one on the J33.

I think you'll find the J36 much more forgiving than the J33, but still very easy to control.
I currently own both and it's exactly what he said. Also, this might be my perception, but the J33's heads look smaller to me.

Do you hit your J33s and j36s the same distance?
