Hi, I haven't got a picture but I saw Sergio's and it is predominantly yellow with black.

Apparently Taylormade are releasing the new bags for February.

If anyone has any pictures of the upcoming 2006 r7 stand bag can you please post.

actually the new R7 TP staff bag is similar to the one posted- just has TP flags in similar location to last year's R7 TP special edition bag,the predominately red & yellow one, actually kinda disappointing, if they were going to go back to that collor scheme, wish they would have gone back to similar style to R500 series staff bag, of course could be biased since I have R500 staff bag :birthday:

 

edit- just looked at sony pics, 2nd new staff I have seen, like that one much better!

The picture of the staff bag on the new Taylor Made web site is nothing like the pics above.

If I order a staff bag from a retailer this week would I get one that looks like the tour players? Any help from someone with insight to Taylor Made would be appreciated

the new r7 2006 bags should be on the taylormade website soon, i think the new bags will be released probally next month!!! does anyone have any info confirming the release date?

i think the 15th january date may be delayed as there are no other websites (i.e. tgw, golfsmith)that have any info on the new bag. hopefully taylormade will get the new bags on there website asap, and hopefully the other websites will have them avaliable soon!!!!

No offense intended...but why would any non-tour player or club professional get a staff bag? It is just advertising....and it is so damn heavy!

I think that if you ride almost all of the time, it would be a great idea to get a staf bag. You can put all of you rain gear and extra junk in the bag and not worry about lugging the darn thing around the course. Also, the staff bags make putting your clubs into and out of the bag easier, in the carry bag the grips and shafts always fit snug and can be tough to pull out.

 

But hey, different strokes for different folks!

I use two bags all year. A staff and a walking bag. The staff bag holds more stuff and really looks cool for tournaments and sticking all your stuff in it for the driving range. The staff bag give a little more room for rain gear, extra clothes on cold days, range finder, sky caddy, umbrella, ect... I just switch the clubs out depending on the situation.

If you ever get to Franklin, Kentucky... go by his course Country Creek, I havent played there since October, but usally he has all his bags he has used lined up around the proshop. You wont find a friendlier bunch of people. I also thing they will change your loft and lie for about 2 bucks a club. Cant beat that deal.

I spoke to taylomade 2 days ago concerning the new standbag, they told me it would be released mid Feb, i assume the staff bag will be realeased around thew same time. However up to now they dont even have any pics of it yet.

I have the new 2006 10.5" Taylor Made r7 Tour Staff bag on the UPS truck to me now from their TMAX Tour department with my corporate logo and name on it. Actually mine was right behind Sergio's back up bag! :) (Or so they told me). Anyway I will have it on Monday to take down to the PGA Show. I will post pictures of it here before I go.
