Ebay Problem

Help Please!!!

I just recently purchased a driver off of ebay and the seller is not responding to emails. Another guy who bought something from the same seller sent me an email asking if I had recieved my club. He is in the same situation. So my question is if the seller does not send my item what do I do? Am I covered by ebay on this and will I be refunded. If this has happened to anyone how would you go about getting a refund?

2 years ago I bought a set of TM combo iron's and never received them. I paid with a credit card through paypal. I contacted paypal and they told me just to wait. After 1 month I contacted my crdit card company and they pursued the seller and paypal and after another month my crdit card was credited with the full amount I paid. Hard lesson but my advice is contact ebay right away and tell them you can't contact seller.

info is in there, I am unsure as to whether you can do anything until 7 days is up. My suggestion, as a ebay seller, is that you use this http://cgi1.ebay.com.au/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.d...ormationRequest and ring the guy and ask him nicely what the problem is. Nicely at first anyway !!!!

The last post is right. Give the guy a nice call to see what the deal is. If he does not deliver team up with the other ebayer that contacted you and file complaints with ebay and paypal (which are owned by the same company(( just an aside, Phil Mickelson is part of that ownership group)). Since it is more than likely across state lines and the fact that he has not delivered on more than one item it could be a federal offense and you can contact your State Attorney General Office. Again, start nice & work your way up.

If you used paypal it should not be hard to get a refund. However, I had a similar situation on ebay. I payed for an item that was about $800 and I didn't hear from the seller for days. I got his phone number from ebay and called. It turned out that he was on vacation and when he returned he did call me. Now, it's kind of stupid to go on vacation with no computer access while you have auctions closing BUT I did get the item. Don't give up all hope.

I know a guy who bought a $7500 Rolex on eBay and never got his watch. You gotta look at the success rate of each seller. Post a complaint, with eBay.

Get his contact information and call him. You can do that on ebay. See if he answers your call. Thats what I would do.

About enough of this, guys on here are giving you free advice, and trying to help you out with information, and advice. And You!, you don't have the common courtesy to give anyone a heads up on who this ebay seller is, his ebay name or anything. Then you jump right back into WTB ad after losing over $500, and keep right on hanging you head in a woe is me fashion, expecting us to feel bad for you. russian_roulette.gif I hope none on here feel bad for you, especially after the way you've treated those who have tried to help you out with advice.

 

Someone asked you who this ebay seller was, his ebay name, sellers number, and you have offered nothing in reply. Guys on here freely help you out but you offer nothing in return, and I'm wondering what the members on Golfwrx owe to you but you at least owe the ones who've answered you in your thread some common decency with a reply.

Good post, and thank you for saying it. Sometimes we (myself included) tend to get wrapped up in our own concerns and in our own world that we can often forget the need to look out for others. Sean, I can appreciate your concerns but you do owe this community, your community a heads-up so others can avoid the same pitfalls, don't even worry about a thank you either (although I appreciate each and every responder in this thread for your concern--even you jake, misguided though you are. (cool) ). For now Sean, I highly recommend discretion in your next purchases. Not so much with the Oziks, tour Corzas, Scotty's, etc. Discretion is the better part of valor, especially for a 14 year old. :huh:

Sorry for responding back to all of the posts in a while. I kind of forget I even created this thread. THe sellers name was ladybugnbees, but their account was closed. I didn't think anyone needed a heads up for a seller that doesn't exist anymore. Thank you to all who responded with helpful advice. Also, I have tried to call the seller and they won't answer.
