Nothing special but I kinda like em!!!

So I have been posting here for a little while, since everyone else has been kind enough to share what they have I thought I would show off my Crubs! (my friends and I call them Crubs)

I think my sig tells what everything is, if not I am sure you can figure it out since nothing it top secret. Let me know if you have any questions or comments! Thanks for looking.

Yeah, I have this matching problem, I like things to match I guess.

I think most of those were done with Testors model paint, red/black/white.

Nothing wrong with that equipment mickfan, everything looks like good solid clubs.

I don't think i have ever seen those irons before, whats the story with those?

Thanks John, like I said nothing special but I like them. However, I wish I had a couple of extra bucks laying around for a few things you have up for sale, great stuff and good prices.

As for the irons, a few years back I was working at a golf shop and got really into the clubmaking aspect of things. So I started to "practice" with some stuff at home. I alway had cast clubs and wanted to try a forged club without spending too much $$$, these Raven's fit the bill. Raven Golf is a small componet company in Wisconsin (New Berlin I think). I laced them up with some Rifle 5.5 and have not used my Ping Eye 2's since. I was suprised at how good they felt, the mishits even hang in there which was key for me. My game is getting better so I might be trying something new but they get the job done.

Raven also makes woods and wedges. Unfotunatley some of their stuff is a little too much of a "knock off" appearance which I am not into but I have been very happy with these. They make some Vokey look alikes that I have tried and they are nice as well.

Speaking of Vokeys, those black ones you just got done are the best looking wedges ever!!!

thanks for the info, i have never seen those irons and was curious. As long as they work for you and you like them don't be in a big hurry to change. Great stuff mick, and thanks for the compliments.

great stuff and i absolutely love the color scheme... i did the same for all my TM stuff to match the red/yellow bag with my irons and woods... that's a sweet paintjob on the titleist driver though, never seen one like that... definitely like it... thanks for sharing!

Nice stuff. You should paint the grooves on that Titleist fairway wood near the toe and heel like the driver!

Got me thinking about painting my 983 now!

Glad you like the driver, most people I play with and my wife don't like it. I think its sweet! :birthday:

Funny you say that, after I posted the pics I saw that it would look good if I did that, so I did it last night, I'll see if I can get pictures up! You should do your, its easy and there are so many 983's out there, its good to be different!
