Was at the course today and ran into Lee Janzen and Zach Johnson getting a lesson. Figured I'd share what club's I saw them using.

According to TGC, he was using TM Burner Tour Irons in 1998. I thought he was using MacGregor at that time. Don't know what he had for his first US Open. I do know he was playing/endorsing Nicklaus Air Bear in 1994 or 1995. He was practicing next to me at Lake Nona, in Orlando.

It's about time that Johnson got some new irons. Geez he had those DCI 990's for a good 4 years at least. I wonder if the F3-05 is starting to pop up in more PGA players' bags?

To me as well. That was the quitest change in golf. Guess Lee doesn't get much pub. any more.

 

Anyways, finally a pro using the 60s. I see the "any pros playing MP60s?" thread pop up every so often. Thnx. 4 the update.

Trust me on the Mizuno signing, he has a Mizuno Staff bag, headcover and a towel. Your friend probably made sets that he was thinking about going with.

 

The Vokey's looked to be like all the one's posted on here. I remmber him using a satin 200 series LW with a "M" grind this summer though. The SW is a 200 series, not sure on the grind though.

First US Open for Janzen was accomplished with Fresh Metal woods (and a Founders bag) and MacGregor VIPs. Wedges were 588s and putter was a Zing 2 steel.
