MACHINE Putters Picture Thread

DB MACHINE

I've never worked with Dave or owned a Machine putter but communication gaps are not exclusive to them. I've been emailing two well known putter makers the last few weeks for a quote and have yet to hear a reply from either one.

Sidetrack over...keep making beautiful putters guys.

Just got this one in a trade. My first Machine and even though I have only carpet putt it, I love it. Will be playing my first round of the year on sunday and taking it for its maiden voyage. Definitely interested in getting some more Machine stuff, thats for sure.

Got my M2A last week. Took roughly 8 weeks. Very happy with how it feels. Zero-offset hosel, minimal toe-hang. Put a Gripmaster jumbo grip on it. Experimenting with a 40g counterweight in grip.

It replaces my TaylorMade Nubbins which I have used for the last 15 years!

Nice...very nice

Hey Guys. Long time lurker on this thread cos these Machine putters just look absolutely gorgeous

Can anyone tell me what's the go with the number on the shaftband of these putters?

It seems that there is a unique number on the band of each. And I'm wondering if that number would lead me to the specs of the particular putter, build date etc. Or is it just the number of that particular run of putters?

Thanks in advance.

Well, I'm not sure about the number...though I do know that most of the necks can be swapped for other necks. I've read that the necks are sold shafted, so the number might not be correct for the head configuration you find.

Each shaft has a ID number. I got 2 shafts for my M2A and they have the sticker on it. No serial on the head afaik.

In any case, DLR has the build specs on file.

On a side note as soon as my Megalodon Arm Lock ships, I'll let everyone know...can't wait and Dave has been great communicating. Don't think there are too many arm lock machines around so I'll post up some pics once it arrives...

:idhitit: for sure :)

Ok Jimmy. Just for you :)

This one is a lefty which I'll be on-selling seeing as I stand the other side.

It has no model number stamped on the sole. Is this normal for the lefty's? My RH all have the model number etc. on them.

It is a rare thing of beauty, and I would seriously consider going to the dark (left) side if I didn't have a RH one :)

And thanks everyone for the comments about the bands/shafts. I'll have to do some digging. Already been in touch with Dave. What a fantastic person to deal with.

And this one is my M2A Convertor.

Not a great photo, this pic is a bit dull. The colors really come up in sunlight.

I'll try to take one when it looks it's best.

Not sure if the "staining" is how it was made, or the usual way they age or if it's corrosion. It gives it a great character either way and I won't be changing or cleaning it up.

A lot of options

And you've got more coming this week! :) Email coming later this AM. Thanks for all your support Jens! You are the best M8!

Did Chris leave Team Machine? I sent him an email and a pm on 2/5 and never heard anything. In fact, the pm was never even read.

Chris is taking a little break to spend more time with his family and new job. Once we have all the new marketing and advertising in place, we'll need Chris and at least one or two Chris clones to help man the boards and social media again. We're all really excited about the new partners and marketing, service and support we're putting in place. In the mean time, thanks for everyone's patience as we make the transition.

All the best,

-Dave

Am I wrong or are we viewing a new headcover supplier? The covers appear to be missing Delila's magnets.

I do really like the colourful new designs.

Thank you for the response Jimmy. Are we looking at EP headcovers? I have a few EP's in the rotation and they are of exceptional quality.

PS - love the dogs.

Will you be carrying these on your website?

Edit: Just traveled to 303 and you already have them up. Awesome. Decisions, decisions.

Love the new designs but the velcro enclosure? I have had bad experiences with velcro and scratching...Any chance of these designs coming with magnet closures in the future?

I recently got an awesome Machine off the bay, and it came with a magnetic headcover. I thought it was the best thing ever, but after using it for a couple of weeks, it started to fall apart. The magnets are so strong that they are ripping their way through the material, and I have stopped using it completely. It's a shame, cause it really was a beautiful cover, until I ruined it by actually using it. Maybe when I get the funds, I'll spring for one of the new ones.
