The word is BELLY PUTTERS........................

PLEASE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Joe

You're right Joe. I believe Belly Golf has a TM on Belly Putters...

LOve the look of the 8802 style Dave :):):) Very Nice :)

And whoever want's to challange me to a thumb match...let me know :):):)

-CHRIS-

Thanks Chris. Good thing I don't have to wrestle for these! LOL! :)

I love the new putters, Could I get some pictures of the face on the 8802 style? Chris, IT'S ON!!!

Rich

Thanks Rich. More to follow later, including of the face.

WOW! Each picture keeps getting better and better Dave.

Unreal...

Thanks Jim. And thanks for the pressure! :)

does the napa style have the VMG face

Nick, it will when we revive it and add the new technologies (per my earlier post). As long as there is a market, and enough requests, we will make it! (the Revival series will take a month or so to get up to speed).

In the mean time, here is a new old / new photo.

M1A Convertible in naval brass, with Delrin Spacer and tongue flange with line in brass, stubby hosel in brass (this sucker is great for a Belly Putter!)

On the right is another FW hand made, HOG's EYE, actual putter used on the PGA TOUR from both sides of the ball! Production model in 304 ss, with milled faces on both sides. Not sure if the market is big enough for this model in the Revival series, but, its up to you guys...

Thanks for your thoughts!

-Dave

1. Dave, you know how much I love copper! This really does keep getting better and better. Thanks also for the sneak peak into the process as well as to the products.

2. Definitely go for the 8802-style. I think there's a lot of love out there for those sticks. I think it's a model that never goes out of style, and I personally always find myself going back to it.

As I sit looking at all the pictures of these marvelous works of art, I've realized several things. First, I will have one of these beauties! Secondly, that these pictures result in a compulsive twitch of my right hand toward my checkbook even if I don't happen to know where my checkbook is at the time( this does not seem like a beneficial side effect although Dave might disagree).

This leads to the question, does that banging of putter heads with a hammer make you a "head banger"?

Thanks, I can't wait for the new pictures of the face.

Rich

Thanks. I need to get the production models from my HQ with the milled faces (next week). The Master was flat, but I will show it off with the other heads "in a flock of HOG's" :) *

Todd- I know you are a fan of copper, as are a few others here... including me! Thanks..

The Retro2 is definately in the que for rivatalization! I know a whole lot of folks who grew up with that style, and still putt incredibly well with them in most cases.

LOL! Yeah, head banger! Dude! And yes, very beneficial! But don't despair, we're going to run some introductory specials for WRX'rs when we go live. db2

retro2 in copper would be sweet!!

We made AlBr and I will dig one up and take some pics from HQ next week. Yes, copper in the reviltalized "Revival" line should be sweet! (we'll work as hard as we can to make it so). -DB

I have tried to keep up with this, I would LOVE a solid copper anser style putter - say the head size of a mid sur - longer with deeper/bigger cavity.

But, I am also not made-o-money.

Soooooo, what kinda prices are we talkin?

We also made the HOG "Grande Long" in an anser-style on testosterone, and got a lot of play on several tours. I think I have one in a bag in my garage and will take a photo of that tomorrow. (right now I'm running late for a playoff watching party - go Cowboys! Please?

Prices when we go live in a little more than a week... :)

Doug, Is that you? PM me so we can discuss the above. Yes, Byron Nelson, Bent Tree Sr. Pro-Am. We also did an Oak Cliff CC media day (with a live studd Hog as a hole-in-one prize who would also snort on command in the competitions back strokes). LOL! Did you miss the HOG Pro-AM at the Tribute? Oh man, we are doing that again, except with Heavy MACHINE'ry this time. Stay tuned, we are going to try and outdo ourselves! It should be a blast, especially with WRX'rs from near and afar! Seriously. :)

Another sneak peek following shortly. Thx. -DB

As promised, another sneak peek at some more putters in progress:

These are a couple of solid copper putters, the MIA to the left with some elbow grease, melted 303 stubby hosel, and the one on the right in a natural aged patina, with melted bumpers and is a "TEST" model for experimenting with different hosels, with a little 'pre-wear" finish.

When you polish a certain way, the patina can be made to look somewhat iridescent with a subtle rainbow effect. This is much more subtle than black pearl, for instance, but very sexy nonetheless, IMHO.

Note the hybrid weight screws with tungsten cores (prior to epoxy). This hybrid set weighs 24 grams (4 ea.). the possibilities are endless! :crazy2:

Enjoy! :drinks:

ES,

Would you be able to tell me more about how the VMG face works? Does it work like the face of the Yes! putters? From what I understand, the Yes! series of putters with their c-groove(?) face aren't exactly forgiving. Any disadvantages to your VMG, etc.?

Also, you take fabulous pictures, I can see all the detail and more! What camera do you use and what resolutions, etc?

Thank You!

P - I will post some more close ups of the VMG face tomorrow and some more detailed explanation, testing, etc. Thanks re: my pics. I just use a Canon EOS Rebel 8.2 MP, download in iPhoto and quick look in Photoshop, tweak the levels a little, crop and out to a JPG. Man technology is great!

They are soooooooooooooooooo pretty, I wish I could be a tester. Very Nice work again and Please, Please keep it up

Rich

Thanks Rich! You're in line for the next TESTER models. I've got lots, lots, more to show. :) :crazy2:

Thanks everyone for all the great comments and requests to be a tester, job requests, PM's, emails, calls, etc.

I will try to answer more of the specific questions from the office tomorrow... right now, I'm in the middle of finishing some copper putters in my garage, since there seems to be some interest in these.

Here are five milled copper putters in various hosels and stages of finishing. 303 stainless stubby on the left (prior to dew) for a little contrast. Also, note the big switch to a white background! :)

More soon.

All the best,

-Dave

Love the materials, colours and adjustability. Also love the MOI stuff. But I'd love to see a mallet with a longer sightline for us bad putters, something like a TPA XVIII, or a Ping B60 with an extended rear flange.

Drooooooooooooooolllllllllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dave,

Is it just me or is the hosel cup longer on the Non-Test longneck than on the Test model? I have noticed that everything you do has a purpose. Is there something special going on with the longer cup?

It gets tougher every time you post pics, but I think I got it pretty much decided.

Keep 'em coming, the WOW Factor is steadily increasing,

Thanks Nick! -DB

Dave,

Those look too cool. I think you're going to have to switch me to an all Copper Long neck M1A garage-made with peened shoulders, 355g (or thereabouts), 33.5", VMG face, sight line in cavity and sight dot. Standard loft and lie angle.

Cheers,

Drew

Drew, Thanks! Hold on to those specs until we go live... (very doable but will need some more details) -DB

Thanks sfdoddsy. See below...the closest I have in my garage... but working on much more! -DB

Thanks LaMont! I am working on a "drool cup" attachment. (old Monty Python skit). LOL!

Actually, that longer looking cup is a little bit of an illusion - the necks are the same but the putter on the far right is further back... I have experimented with different length cups, especially longer cups, but you have to watch the hosel length rule on the shaft-in-hosel construction on the LN's. Clay Long made some longer (taller) cups like that too..

Below is a closer view of the M3A Transformer, in black anoodize with satin tongue and chrome mallet ring. Shown below that is an exploded view, showing the tungsten weights and components prior to assembly, and prior to finishing.

More soon. Thanks again for all the support! :drinks:
