I think the Dynamic Profile is the only thing that's older than your attempt at a post run.

By far the best shaft tor my irons and my swing. They are a bit heavy for me as I am past 65, but nothing else I have demoed , feels as good. Great ironshafts! I also like the Sensicore option which enhances the feel IMO.

Now, at age 71, I just put them back in my old MP 14's, and as I now get to hit from the front teeboxes :lock: ..... I ama BACK!......... GREAT golf shaft! :pimp:

I must be in the minority. I have played X100 for over 20 years. I recently had an iron fitting with a FlightScope and used the Titleist fitting cart. I was able to try shafts with the same exact head at my length (+1/2") and lie angle. I was stunned at how bad the X100 felt compared to the C-taper. I liked the feel of the PX 6.5 too better, but the C-taper was my favorite. The flight, spin, and results confirmed too that it was the best shaft for me.

I ended up building a set of Titleist 690MB's with C-taper S+ even though the fitter recommended the X flex and my iron play has improved a great deal. I love the feel too. I liked the lighter feel of the 125g shaft. The X100s felt like anvils to me after swinging each shaft. The softer butt section of the X100 felt weird to me after hitting the C-taper even though I have played X100s for 20 years. I hated them after hitting the C-taper.

I'm perplexed by these shafts because the specs say they are too much shaft for me but every time I try them, I'm shocked I can hit them comfortably. I actually hit them higher than my stiff TT Lite XL. Go figure.

Oh, and I did come back to TT after a long stint with PX.

I have similar eperince with x100's, club fitters say my average swing speed is too slow for these shafts, so they always want to put me in s300's or kbs r+. while I understand the numbers, I love x100"s. Several years ago I found that I needed 1" longer shafts, the pro said stay with stiff shafts, but i tried x100's anyway, they are long and straight and have that solid feel, who cares what the numbers say!

Anybody still using TTDG Sensicore shafts (x100)? Thinking of reshafting some 735.cm chromes and wondering if anyody has some experience with the feel change with these Titleist irons (or forged irons in general) with and with out the S'cores. I do seem to recall the x100 was slightly softer in cpm than the regular x100.

love the x100, mine are +1" and hard stepped one step...very stiff, very good feedback and control. Nice low ball flight. None of my friends can hit these which is great... Definitely have to have a fast swing speed, i'm pretty tall so it's a given. Best shaft i tested with, least dispersion best distance and launch... Can't say enough about how much i love these shafts.

I can share an opinion, but there are so many shafts to compare to, so hard to answer if there the "best". I can say I enjoyed KBS Tours, and C-Taper, but this is a question and an answer from my confusion. How are specs on s300 and x100 so close, yet when I switched to 100's it was night and day? Never felt something so smooth for my swing. Best looking? Not to me, I like satin. But best feel, trajectory, and match to my heads...absolutely perfect.

I just reahafted my 735cm irons with x100s. Coming from the s300sl shafts I had, these have tightened my dispersion by a significant margin. Distance seems to be the same and I can still flight the ball high if need be. They feel more stable to me throughout the swing and I have noticed an improvment in feel of off center hit location. I probably should've been using these shafts 2 years ago but I have been hesitant on pulling the trigger. I feel even more thrill since it is my first attempt at reshafting a set on my own and I havent lost any club heads! ...yet (knock on wood)

I'm browsing modern iron heads, and I am wondering how these stack up to today's iron shafts? It might be more cost effective for me to just replace my iron heads if this is still the shaft that works for me.
[/quote]
It appears as they hold true to the test of time. I feel like technology in metal shafts can't really go much further where as graphite shafts can always improve. If you've hit these and enjoy the dispersion and feel, they should be a great shaft. Definitely get fit though if you can! Try all the shafts you have available and sometimes you'll be surprised.

I've used the TI x100s for about four years now. For what it's worth I'm 6'4 and swing relatively fast but with a smooth tempo.

Probably a combination of heads and shaft but I truly feel I can hit any shot with these. When I want to hit a high shot I can; when I want to hit it low I can. With a six iron hitting high and hitting low i bet the change in apex height is 30'. Now listen, I'm an amateur. I don't hit every shot the way I want, not even close. What I'm saying is this shaft will do exactly what I ask it to do if I can make the swing. I love the shaft, it's feel and capabilities.

Love them, but lawdy, they can bring the rain down I hit them so high. Not so with the PX's.

I just picked up a set of irons w/ Tour X100's. I have used S300's for 20+ years but they're whippy to me. I play hockey and have a strong swing (but I don't swing hard), quick transfer, can't wait to hit them, hoping they'll reduce my hard draw. The hard draw is great when it's working but with some stress and adrenaline, it can be hung way out right or snapped left if I'm not careful, which in turn increases my nerves and hesitation, which isn't good when the heat is on.

How does the DG X100 compare to the DG AMT X100? The AMT is much lighter in the longer irons, up to 24 grams lighter. Looking forward to trying them out.

Everything I've read says that the AMT's are lighter in the 3-5 irons and progressively heavier as shafts progress to the PW. I'd like to try them out, if Titleist is using AMT's in their iron lineups, then I'll have to trust it.

There’s a new DG 120 x100 shaft…all the benefits of x100 but lighter. Absolutely love mine

How many of you wrx'ers play this shaft??? What are some of the pros and cons of this shaft compared to the ever so popular PX and TTBG?? Thanks!

The Dynamic Gold line will be for someone who has a bit smoother transition and also likes the feel of something softer in the grip of the club. Project X is known for feeling more stout in the grip which some players do not like.
