I personally answer 40-80 email quotes per day, not including PM's on GolfWRX. So needless to say, it can be a slow process if you you email and I am at a Tournament or if I happen to take a day off. Please if you do not receive a prompt email quote send a PM thru golfWRX and I will likely pick it up and answer it from the road. Most of our quotes are done over the phone, and if you want a quote quickly (in less than 48 hours), this is the only way to go. I just ordered a couple Spin Milled wedges through them and Nicholas was VERY HELPFUL explaining all my options, and explaining custom order options if I wanted things bent/changed.

 

I also called today (in return of their call, they had a question when I asked about grip options.. I took the stock grip, I can change it here, but they took the time to call which I appreciate because I'd rather it done right). I spoke with DAN HIMSELF. Nice guy, and invited me to play his course when I am in Oregon (unfortunately, I'm in NJ, but I may be in oregon sometime in the next couple years for one of our championships). DAN was very nice as well.

 

Anything I am going to buy golf related now goes through DiscountDansGolf first. If they have it, I know it'll be at the best price.

I have been a member of this site for awhile and have never posted and thought it was time I did. I have been looking for a particular Cleveland Launcher fairway wood locally and on the web with no luck. For the last week I have tried to get the club on Ebay but wasn't willing to pay what others where willing to bid for a used club. Finally, yesterday I visited the Golf WRX web site and found Discount Dan's. I just got off the phone with Discount Dan himself and what a pleasure it was to talk with him. When I told him that I was from Rochester, NY we had a nice conversation about Walter Hagen. I was lucky because they had the club I wanted but even if they didn't I was still lucky to talk to Dan. He told me to give him a call if I ever wanted to just talk golf and I really believe he meant it. Oh well enough of me rambling, I just thought I'd let you know of a good experience.....they don't happen often enough.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but this is warranted.

 

I just wanted to say "Thank You" to Nick and the rest of the staff at Discount Dans Golf. On August 24 I ordered a custom set of Titleist 755 irons. Not only did I get the best possible price, but also top notch service. Nick placed the order immediately and I received the irons today, September 5. That's a turnaround time of 7 business days from order placement to delivery. WOW!

 

Anyway, thanks again to Discount Dans. I know where to go next time I need something.

I have to second kevins post. I have ordered everything from Drivers and irons to fairway woods and even the new detour. I ordered 4 of the detours from them and had them almost 2 weeks before any other store started carrying them. Discount Dans is a great company to do business with any day of the week.

I just ordered a 3 wood from discount dans and they couldn't have been more helpful and patient with me...I called them again after already having them place a custom order through titleist because i forgot to mention i needed a shorter shaft (dumb me) and then called back again later on because i was parranoid that maybe i had confused them...needless to say i was a bit annoying to them for sure, but they are gentlemen and understood. Great customer service and great prices! Shopping here from now on! ;)

I just had my first experience with DiscounDansGolf and couldn't be more pleased. I ordered both a stock and custom club and actual spoke with the owner, how cool is Dan! I've been in many golf shops, as we all have, and have encountered many types of helpers, Pro's etc. However to get personalized service over the phone lines, speaking with someone of his caliber and knowledge, well its very rare. Due to the fact of how he runs his business I find no need to visit my local shop except fot balls, tees and gloves. I know others here have had the same experience and I hope many more of you will get a opportunity to do the same. After the transaction was over he took the time to tell me a story about his life and a little bit about how it relates to golf, try getting that at your local pro shop
