I'm going to the Tuesday practice round at Augusta with camera in hand. The problem is that I don't get back home until after midnight and have a 9:00 a.m. flight Wednesday. I'll try to download the pics and email them to be posted.

 

 

Well if you dont hear more than email the pics to gxgolfer at: [email protected] if you come in late like that. Ryan is west coast, or to myself [email protected].

 

If they arent resized Pics then send them at 5 to 10 at a time so the message goes through. Have fun!

I'm going to the Tour Championship, it officially starts this month. I just got a new 80-400 VR lens that I will be testing out. In regards to bag pics, what are the best days? My wife will be with me on Sunday, so might not be the best day to do so. But, I have access Tues-Sunday.

80-400 VR lens??? Ouch. That is a lot of lense. Tuesday and Wednesday is the only days you will be allowed to bring a camera.

Yep I noticed it.

 

Haha, when I made that post on the 1st page I think I still only had little 3.1 digi camera LOL. Now I upgraded to a DSLR which should help if I get the chance to make it to the John Deere Cl. this year. Or, in a few years, whatever tournaments shows up at the new, Rees Jones designed, Bluetop Ridge Golf Course that just happens to be 15 minutes from me and I'll be working there this summer.

 

 

On a side note Richard, would a 200mm lense be enough to get good pics?

Without a doubt. There are always ways to get close. Somethimes you have to scout out a tee box and you can get with in a few feet. Caddies will spin a bag for you if asked.

 

200 is more than enough IMO.
