My New Tour Cameron - Del Mar 3.5!

Tell me what you guys think. I just got her in, she needs to go to the studio for a new grip and Authentication - but otherwise she is in really good shape. There are a few small marks on the face, and a small scratch on the topline, but other than that - no nicks or dings...

Nice setup. I love the Mizuno Scotty Cameron M400. Still have that putter. I like how the welded neck sets this head up. Very nice (cool)

They truly are a very undiscovered treasure in putters, thats ok , leaves more for those of us with the love.

Nice pick-up Matt! Looks good. Hope you putt well with it. Give us a review if the weather breaks and you get a chance to try it out.

Do you guys think that I should get it refinished when I send it in for authentication. If has a few scratches within the finish and those couple of small nicks - or do you think that it is in good enough shape not to worry about it?

 

I guess I need to send it in for a new grip and a shaftband - so if I am going to be spending that should I just get it restored?

 

What do you think - either the Navy Custom Grip or the Black and Yellow - Currently it has a worn Yellow/Red WINN that I don't think the studio will replace.

 

What do you guys think?

I personally would not refinish it. The little scratches just add character.

Very sweet looking putter :cheesy:!! After using Reid's, I picked one up a steal of a price and it has found it's way into my bag.

That is a very nice putter. Right now I see no real need to get it restored. Play around with it, get a feel for it, touch it, . . . you know. :cheesy: Maybe change out the grip if you need to, but for now that putter is very playable. The only reason you'd need to get a restore and refinish done is if you're ready to either display it or sell it. So for now, I see no sense in baiting the hook unless you're getting ready to catch a fish. :)

Well, I sent this putter back to Cameron for a Restoration, and I got confirmation that this is coming back to me on Monday!
