Haha, we were joking the other day that a few of the koi are almost big enough to eat a golf ball. Might have to figure that out here in a couple years when they are fully grown. Until then I'll have to stick with the standard ball retriever.

I am fairly new to golfwrx...but I just spent some time and went through this thread from start to finish. Truly amazing what you have done here. You are a testament to what can be accomplished with enough determination, creativity, and hard work.

I am sure the feeling of taking your dream and making it into a reality is extremely gratifying. You have my admiration. And you have helped me imagine what kind of golf paradise my backyard could be. Thank you for that.

First 2 putts are the longest on the green, right at about 20 feet.

Second 2 putts are the hardest on the green, going across the divider slope.

Third 2 putts are the straightest on the green, first one slightly downhill and the second slightly uphill.

Then there is a small demo of 3 shots from the fairway, and 3 shots from the bunker. I shot video of a few other pitch shot locations, but either the lighting or the focus was crappy on them. I'll shoot more video in the daytime when I have some free time.

Thanks bud. It does feel great to finally have it done. I've been putting and chipping almost every evening for the past 3 weeks, and had friends over for mini up and down contests and putting games several times already. It's a blast to throw on some tunes and kick back with a few buddies and game it up.

Haha. Yeah my short game and putting has always been fairly solid... if only I could hit the ball as far as everyone on here does, I'd be able to shoot some pretty good scores.

Yeah the divider between the 2 tiers really creates a ton of break. It's a lot more mild on the upper and lower flat areas though. My homemade stimpmeter says 12.5 for the speed.

Damn, just powered through this thread in a few hours. LOVE everything about this project, but at some point I was expecting you to do something about the cinder block wall . Stucco and/or paint that thing!

what are you going to do once the landscaping gets mature? I take it you'll pull some of them and start over at some point? As a southerner who has HUGE hydrangea bushes on my property, I can see that one being a pest.
