what up golfers.......on an adventure to purchase a set of wedge and just wondering what everyone's thougts on the two set of wedges above......

FWIW, i know that wedges are more of a personal preference, but wanted to know what people think of them.......and both are about the same price tag!

Not normally a TM wedge fan but the cutters are fantastic. Tried one yesterday and they might find a way into my bag

I'll probably get a load of hate mail but i'm not a fan of the CG10's. They just don't compete with the 588's.

I picked up a 52*, 56*, and 60* TM RAC TP wedges on Saturday. The CG10's were ok, but I have heard they wear rather quickly. Plus you can't beat the Y grooves in the TM RAC TP wedges.

I'm a fan of both wedges but I like the weighting on the CG10's much better. I have played a whole summer w/both the satin and gun metal finishes and the gunmetal holds up much better.

cg10 are very soft and don't spin as much

rac tp.. are not as soft and spin a lot...

The Rac Tp will give you the extra spin if that is what you are looking for and ive seen the black pearl wear pretty easily

cg 10's are soft, responsive, feel great and spin more than enough, but yes they do wear v quickly

I've got a few CG10's 56* & 60* (both 2 dot), and must say the do perform very well. Great feel and spin. I hit shots with my 56* that had most other golfers shaking their heads at how high I could hit a shot, and how fast I could make it stop. Can even get good backspin on it.

I'm giving the Titleist Vokey SM the nod for my SW right now. I'll quickly go back to my CG 10 if I have to. As others mention, the CG10's are softer, and wear faster. Also, might want ot cover it, to prevent getting nicked up in the bag. :cheesy:

Haven't tried the cg10 wedges from cleveland, but I have tried many of their wedges in the past from 588 to BeNi, and I feel that the TM rac black tp wedges outperform them in every way. I've never been able to spin the ball as much as I can with these wedges. It gives me more control and allows me to attack the pin a little more and know the ball will stop. I don't notice that they're any harder feeling than other wedges I've tried, and don't feel that they're noticably harder than my mizuno irons. Just my two cents.
