Best shaft I have ever played. Super smooth and very responsive. It added 10y to my R7 425 TP and it has had VS Proto/Prolaunch Red/ Grafalloy Blue/ Vista Tour/NV in it.

 

Do your self a favour and try this shaft. And at the price it is a no brainer.

Saw that KJ was playing this shaft at the D-Bank last weekend. It's too bad he couldn't putt, cause I don't think he missed a fairway all day!! Does it play true to flex? Softer? Enquiring minds want to know....

I installed mine untipped as I was unsure how it would play to flex. I have a 105mph swing speed with my driver and it is spot on for me. It is very very very smooth, very responsive, did I mention it was smooth.

 

If anything I would say it is slightly weak to flex untipped, but very stable. I hit one right off the toe yesterday and while I knew that was where I hit it, and the 425tp is not the most forgiving club, it still flew straight and true.

 

If you spent $200-300 on this shaft you would be happy, but I only paid $50 for mine and I am over the moon.

Used it again today in 30mph wind. No Ballooning into the wind and a rocket ship down wind. This shaft is great.

This shaft is amazing. I just built up a 907 D2 w/ an x70 to try this shaft out and it is very, very impressive. First shaft I've tried in a long time that I like as much as my accra se80. I'd like to do a launch monitor comparison in the same head with this saga and a few other premiums I've tried, but from the first few range sessions it is awesome!

 

It says alot that KJ plays this shaft instead of the ultra pricey Ozik he was using earlier in the year. I've heard Harrison has gone busto, too! Anyway, do yourself a favor and snatch up a couple of these- few different weights and flexes to try. Some distributers are letting them go for like $40, INSANELY GOOD SHAFT AT THIS PRICE! :good:

Just had one installed this mornig in Cobra LD 2008 head. 60s untipped CPM was 254 with a grip on the shaft at 45"

I put one on my El Diablo, 60S, Tipped an inch, amazing. So long and easy to swing. Its just straight, and nice ball flight. Playing in the last Egolf tour in Phoenix only missed 2 fww's with it. All over 300 just nice and easy. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry to wake up a somewhat old thread but if i was to buy the 70 S and wanted to play it(tip it) 44.75 inches where would that fall on the flex scale?

Put this in my 4DX and its an animal, sooooo smooth to me, great launch and low spin. I'm in love.

this is a really good shaft. Plays slightly softer than stated flex. I went with a X and it feels great. I get a mid trajectory, but it seems to carry forever.

Really want to try this shaft in a L4V. I'm playing the stock stiff in it now. But have been told I should try a regular flex in a heavier shaft. SS is in mid 90's. What would you guys recommend? Play a stiff untipped? Maybe a reg flex tipped 1/2"? Have read nothing but good things about this shaft.

I voted this a 5. I know there are better shafts out there but for the price, I could buy 5 to 6 Saga shafts for 1 Ozik. I play the X70 untipped and love it. I average 112 SS and have no issues with control. The shaft responds well when I go after it also.

I stuck a R flex PL Red in my L4V but not really loving it. Still want to try a Saga just not sure on what flex I should get still. Maggot recommended a 70g R flex tipped a 1/2"

Now in that gigantic L4V thread a lot of people say that any shaft should be tipped 1/2" in an L4V for it to play to it's stated flex because of the heavier weight of the head (208gr)

I like the weight of the PL RED (65gr) And would probably keep that the same in a Saga. Just not sure if I should go reg flex tipped or just throw a stiff in there untipped and call it a day. My SS is mid to high 90's. Any other advice? Thanks.

The best way I can describe this shaft is Blue Board for 25% of the price. Great shaft, especially bang for buck!!!!
