The F.I.T (Feel Impact Technology) Face is the culmination of a long term Bettinardi project to engineer a one piece milled putter offering the softer feel favoured by some players on tour.

An additional face milling process leaves just 30% of the face material in contact with the ball for an unbelievable sensation at impact. A lush, durable Black Chrome finish favoured by staff player Luke Donald and an exact BC1 replication of Luke's personal putter shape complete the collection.

The BC Series are milled to 3 different head-weights for 33", 34" and 35" length options.

Bob Bettinardi, 'We wanted to create a really soft buttery feel, without resorting to the use of an insert which would reduce consistency. The very latest milling engineering allowed us to take 70% of the impact material away and the results are incredible. Our Tour Players couldn't believe that we managed this without an insert.'

Can anyone tell me if there are 3 different headweights of each type (BC1, BC2, BV3) for each length, or is there a specific headweight per length? I've seen headweights of 330g, 343g, 355g. No info on mizuno website.

Any info appreciated.

Bob set out to create that "really soft" feel and he did it. I only gave the series a 4 because, well, I think it may be a wee bit too soft. perhaps if I'd gotten the BC1 or 2 I would feel differently. It really is a soft feel putter, and on the greens I normally play on - as I said - mayber too soft.

BUT - If I played a lot of fast greens, I probably would feel differently.

I just got the BC5 center shafted putter and it has instantly become my favorite over the many recent ones I've tried. I love the soft feel, and I found the "mallet" head to be much more pleasing than the typical mallet head putters. It just fits my eye better I guess, but most importantly, after two days on the course this week, I have been right around or in the hole on putts I just wasn't making the past year or so. Looking forward to many many rounds with this over the summer!

Great putter, whole head is very soft, so always have a cover on it. I needed an aftermarket one, since my stock bc3 cover was always 100yrds behind me!
