Hit These?

Has anyone hit these hybrids. They look good and the price is great.

If you are referring to their JMax Hybrids then I may be able to answer you tomorrow, if UPS is quick enough. I just bought the 3/4 hybrid 5 - PW set off of eBay, so I am also interested in others' opinions on this.

When I was calling around looking for a local place to purchase them I did speak to a pro (or maybe just the pro-shop guy) that said he used them and was pretty happy with their performance.

i had the tour great club but i wanted something more like a blade with hardley no offset

I hit the regular Jmax in a hitting bay, and liked the feel. I wasn't crazy about it looks at address, but I can get past that if the perfromance is well. All in all I believe that its a very economical, good quality hybrid.

Guys, wait until you see the Exotics hybrid. It is sweet and has moveable weight technology as well. Might be teh best I've seen to date at a great price. Coming soon.

I'm not a big fan of 5 woods and I can't hit a 2 iron as consistently as i'd like and I found that the Jmax tour iron wood was the best out there. Get the right shaft and you've got a great club. Wasn't keen on the standard club though, tends to balloon a bit. I'm interested in seeing the new one's now though!

I just recieved mine yesterday (#2). Haven't had a chance to hit it yet. The great thing about these is that Tour Edge flattened the lie and put my favorite grip on it for NO CHARGE.

I was hitting the Tour at the local golf shop a couple weeks back. Nice club. Unfortunately, the NV shaft broke off at the hosel on one of my swings. My demo was over then... :cheesy:

On a serious note I have a TourEdge Jmax 2 iron hybrid that I had in play for just shy of a year and I must say that I was very happily surprised with it's performance! The trajectory was perfect (w/ s300) and the best part was the 'pop' I'd get off the club face; just brilliant!!

Great feel and a great club!

...in the iron like hybrids, i don't think there is a better hybrid than the tour ironwood out there regardless of price. i tied virtually everything out there with minimum offset. i've been playin mine a year, and you can do almost anything with it. great off the tee, from the fairway, light rough and knockdowns in the chicago winds are surprisingly easy.

... if you are replacing an iron, i would highly recommend using that irons shaft. i use aldila MLTi tour shafts, inm my #3 tour ironwood and replaced the nippon with the 130gm 3i shaft, which of course shortened it to my 3i length. now it is just a normal, but super forgiving 3i.

Well I got mine yesterday and tried the 23* Iron-wood and honestly did not like it at all. My 22* CPR is infanitly easier for me to hit (high handicapper). The sound was also not as crisp as I would have liked.

Looks like I will keep the CPRs and try to unload the 2 iron-woods, but I am sure better players will have a better time than me with them.

On the plus side, I really liked the QL Irons and am quite happy having them in the bag for the new golf season.
