i was at the FBR and decked out in JL to support my favorite JL golfer in his 06 debut... to see him decked out in the latest and greatest from the other cool Swedish golf designer, Peak Performance... heartbreaker... i havent seen any pics up of it yet so i thought i would break it as gently as possible to those who share my allegiance with Johan's favorite golfers... i am sure Peak Performance, in their recent push towards golf, offered Freddy a ton of cash to leave JL... sad deal... Freddy was the flagship JL golfer in my eyes

yeah its was sad, I held the sign for freddy on Sunday at the FBR and I was wearing my JL bands and belt and he comes up in PEak performance red pants and shirt i was dissapointed but there stuff looks really nice too!

thats pretty bad... I guess that's what JL gets for taking in all the new golfers under his name for late 05' and 06' (i.e. Richard Johnson, Hank Kuehne, etc.)

JL got Camilo Villegas, so the loss is not that bad.....

 

 

By the way: Will someone tell these TV commentators ( can't remember whichone it was ) how to pronounce a colombian surname!!! That's really embarassing, he had four days and never got it right, geeeez

Peak Performance seem to have a real nice casual wear line going. It's a shame Freddy has dropped JL but the Peak Performance golf gear he is wearing looks just as cool imo.

I agree! I cringe every time I hear them mispronounce his name!

 

Oh, on the 'Peak Performance' stuff, I haven't heard of or seen it yet! Gotta go check it out! I'm sure if Freddie made the switch, it had to be pretty cool!!!! (...........the money couldn't have been bad either!! :drinks: )
