Adams Redline RPM 430Q Driver Features:

RePositioned Mass Technology Takes Moveable Weights to a New Limit

The Redline RPM 430Q, like the other Redline RPM woods, features state-of-the-art RePositioned Mass technology and xFace engineering. The traditional shape is designed for looks and performance, the large 430cc size provides forgiveness and the adjustable weights offer customized launch conditions.

RePositioned Mass technology in the RPM 430Q provides 44 grams of discretionary weight. This weight is relocated to deliver increased ball speed and improved launch conditions and spin rates. 55% of the mass (two 10-gram screws and two 2-gram screws) is adjustable through four weight ports, which can be positioned to six different configurations. This customization allows golfers to optimize trajectory and ball curvature. XFace engineering expands the COR zone across the face for greater ball speed on both center and off-center hits.

* Four moveable weights offer customized launch conditions. It's the first driver to combine golf's hottest technologies - composite crowns, oversized driver heads and moveable weights.

* 430 cc head size for maximum performance

* Includes proprietary wrench and owners manual

9.5* NVS stiff

Great looking head, adjustable weights are nice and effective. An all around good driver that ends up being uninspiring.

-Low launching compared to others I've hit with the same loft - even with the stock NVS.

-Doesn't have a great sound. Not bad, but not great.

-distance seems to be average

+can be had for cheap used

+All the technology is in there Weights, carbon top, large head

+very pleasing to the eye at address

+nice headcover & wrench

I'm going to try a YS-6 in there (my fall back shaft) and see if I can bring the launch up a little.

I purchased one of these from Ebay and got a great deal!

Pros

I upgraded from an older Callaway Hawkeye and found it to be incredibly forgiving and added about 20+ yards to my average drive and dead straight.

Cons

The sound is good (not as good as the Callaway :drinks: )but can be rather deafening if hit a little too solid!

Overall

A great club for the price, compares well with the Macgregor and the Tour Edge drivers. I would absolutely recommend this driver!

still have a 10.5 w/nv65 R shaft. on the screws, one of the longest drivers i have hit, as long as my comp w/the FUJI Fiton11.

con: not very forgiving, especially on the toe.

for the money, try and then buy a cleveland 460 on ebay, usually can pick one up for $ 100. some with custom shafts. comps around 140-150.

good luck

I just picked one up from
e-bay for 35.00 dollars, 9.5
stiff NVS.

I have been experimenting with
shorter mid kick shafts for about a
year now and i like the results.

My current driver carries around 260
with tight rope trajectory and normally runs
around 20 yards, even with the 10.5 deg
I also put around 3 strips of 3" lead tape on
lower and rear part of the head which lowers
the trajectory adding the 20 plus yards of run.

I'll report back ASAP!
