AWESOME DRIVER. I've been playing the MacTec for about 4 months now. Mone has 10.5 degrees of loft and a Stiff Flex "quadra action shaft".

 

I have a somewhat short backswing. This provides great accuracy off the tee, but limited distance. With the quadra-action shaft, the shaft and clubhead really do all the work for me. Even the stiff shaft feels a bit whippy, but that's ok, the clubhead speed is tremendous.

 

The sound, when flushed, can only be described as an aluminun bat being broken in half by a Barry Bonds home run. Seriously, it's LOUD, and people will know you've crushed it.

 

I could not be happier with this driver. It's straight as an arrow, and crazy long. It's a bargain compared to some other pricier drivers.

Stock stiff shaft played soft. HOOKER, this one! Didn't think it was loud, more of a muffled sound.

I picked one up on e-bay recently and I have to say - This is the hottest driver I've ever played! The 7.5* has a lower ball flight than most 7.5* drivers I've played, but it really gets its run out. Even on soft fairways.

 

I am putting a clock ferrule in my FT-5 to put my loft and face angle the same as this MacTec. Time will tell which will win.
