blades

Ok, I've got it down to 2. After another one of my posts (deciding between Nikes and Mizunos) I've decided on Mizzy blades. Alot of people said to compare MP-37's rather than MP-32's to the nike blades. I've ruled out Nike's, and now am down to the MP-37 and MP-32s. Are the 37's considered a decently forgiving MB? Im not concerned about forgivness in particular, but everyone has mishits. I like the feel of the 32's, but have not hit the 37's. Help?

32's are the best blade mizzy has had since the 33's were first introduced.

very forgiving for a blade.

I think that the MP 37 is the least forgiving blade in comparison with the MP 33 and 32. It has a smaller face and lower trajectory than the other two.

You *really* want to hunt down a set of MP-37 and try them out (I'm not sure you'll find MP-33 even in a big store).

When I looked at the MP-37, I asked about what was different between MP-37 and MP-33. The MP-33 was being played by pros, not so much the MP-37. The guy in the store told me that the MP-33 had been around a long time and the MP-37 was basically an update because of the popularity of the Pro V1 ball. The ball flight was higher with the Pro V1 than most of it's predecessors, so the lofts were strengthened by a degree to lower the ball flight. There's also a slightly different sole grind, I think it's rounder on the MP-37. I'm not sure if the head is smaller on the MP-37 vs. MP-33, but they're much smaller than the MP-32.

As I mentioned in the other thread, I liked the idea of a traditional blade but MP-37 or TA-1 but my ability is not up to the level of these clubs. For me, the TA-1 is easier to hit reliably - the TA-1 is shorter heel to toe than the MP-37 but the face is taller. The appearance of the Mizuno's is much better than the Clevelands, although this may not reflect the quality of the forging under the chrome.

The MP-32s are just a lot easier to hit than the MP-37. Better players can address how much you're trading off in feel or shot-shaping with the MP-32 than I can

Get the 32's over the 37's and you will be very, very, very happy you did. The 37's are a nice blade but they, imo, do not even compete with the 32's.

I would say if you are looking for high ballflight and forgiveness go with teh 32's and if you want a low ballflight go with the 37's

It is nice to see all the Mizzy boys in WRX. I have tried to like the Titleist clubs because I can get any set from a rep (friend) for 200 bucks but I pay retail for my Mizuno's because to be quite frank, they are better. lol :drinks:

the 37s are a stunning beautiful set of clubs and not very forgiving...but the 32's are every bit as workable and as soft and youre not losing anything with them compared to the 37's and gaining a bit of playability...so go 32's :drinks:

Buy the 32's they are just sick in every way imaginable. I had the 37's, played the 33's for 2 years. While I will always have a sweet spot for the 33's I'll never miss the 37's, and the only way you will get my mixed mizzies 32/60 is to shot me.
