its neither. its the forged ti driver which came out before the ignite or nds. came in 275 (steel not ti), 350, 400 and 450. was met with mixed reviews. i still have a 350 with a prolite. not the longest driver out there but very consistent.

Aaaah...my old friend. By far one of the most underrated drivers ever. Shallow to medium face, no sight aid on top, sat dead sqaure and felt super solid. also a great medium ball flight with the stock stiff shaft.

i remember playing its little brother, the 350 cc, and thinking how can they make a driver any bigger. if i only knew what was being produced now back then. i believe this line was the first driver with forged titanium, but i could be wrong, but was a very solid preformer. its really a shame that now you can find them in my golf store for like 30-50 bucks.

very solid driver...muted thwack sound, med-hi ball flight and a GREAT stock graphite shaft.

i think it was nike who might've actually started the quality stock-shaft trend...then titleist came along w/ the Titleist/fuji speeders.

Tiger played the 275 or 350 I can't remember which. I played the 350cc with the stock S flex nike golf shaft which was actually made for Nike by Fujikura. I sold mine on ebay about a month ago for about gbp£35, it was mint, I loved it. The only thing that annoyed me about it was the face always sat slightly closed at address making me want to open the club face up a bit.

It made a lovely muted sound on impact and I found it actually quite a long hitting driver.

Mine did have sight aids on the crown, three dots to be exact, contrary to what konklifer says. I never saw a 450cc so maybe it didn't have them???

If you can pick one up in mint condition for a few bucks then buy it. You'll find them very consistent and ideal for a backup driver.

I have a couple of the 275cc's one with a s flex and the other with an x flex both give a low ball flight due to the high cog on the 275. And its almost impossible to hit a draw with either of them. Also I believe that tiget used the 275.

I had the 450cc, and it didn't have the sight alignment dots, but the 400 cc one my buddy had, had the site dots (3 on top of the head). Anyhow, it was the first big driver I had and the sound was a powerful thwack and the stock Fujikura made for Nike Shaft was awesome in stiff flex. I believe it was a little heavier than most shafts are now, weighing in around 74-76 grams. Club single handedly got me back into the game of golf!
