These are some of the highest quality pics of seen on this board. Not to slight any of the exceptional pics in the past, but these were great!! :crazy2:

The course pics were some of the best I've seen, and there are plenty out there. Maybe golfwrx could work with you on putting together a screen saver slide show with a smaller watermark in the corner. It would be on my PC right now.

Great Job!! :drinks:

P.S. what was with the mesh on the tee box on 17?

The mesh on tee boxes is to protect the grass from all the hacks the previous week on the course so it looks nice and pretty come tournament play tomorrow.

In all the tournaments I've been involved with (Opens and PGAs among others) the mesh is put down to prevent the pros from beating the crap out of the tee by taking many practice shots from various tee locations, not the general public. Usually the pros tees aren't used by the general public anyway and are closed for the previous two weeks. It is to keep the pros off during practice rounds. It is also very funny how dim some of the pros are (read that stupid) instead of walking around the mesh they will tromp straight ahead on it catching their spikes and tripping and sometimes falling. They don't learn I saw one certain young pro do it two straight years at the Western Open. Rocket scientists they aren't.

That is true, but for PB, it's there to keep the public away too. I have played PB two days before the tour hits town and the mesh is already there, and it is also in places that the public would hit from (blue tees). And yes, the tour pros can be a little dim. But that's mostly because these guys are in a whole other world of golf that we really have no idea what it is like. No matter how much of a club ho I have been in the past, no matter how exotic my clubs or putter collection, the bottom line is I play for fun. Tour pros play for big money and while it may be fun for them, the fact they are surrounded my managers, agents, club reps, media, volunteers, and so on, the circus is a constant reminder that it is quite an industry. Pretty easy to trip on your spiked because you are not looking down.

A few observations from today.

The Tour Edge Exotics rep had a nice moment. He snagged VJ aside as VJ came onto the range and showed him some irons. VJ was not faking interest, he was seriously listening. So serious that VJ brought the tour rep over to meet the Cleveland reps and have a little pow-wow. Nice move.

Really special phots Demo. Some great stuff here. Thanks a lot.

As for the Tour Edge rep..he is also the rep for Element 21 shafts, so he may have been showing VJ the shafts..makes more sense to me if he invovled the Cleveland guys in the discussion as I would think that they would not be very happy to an iron brand switch..just an observation on my part.

From what I saw, that makes perfect sense. I did not know the same rep did the E21s.

That wasn't the case with the pros I was refering to. They were out with their caddies and no hangers on. The same young "can't miss pro" did it two years in a row and he looked equally confused each time like what is this strange stuff that is tripping me? He also did it on several holes in a row one year. You would think once you got stuck you might exit to where the mesh wasn't---not this guy he kept tromping on down the tee the entire length of the mesh getting stuck with each step. As the marshalls had to replace the mesh they were also very impressed with this pro.

Does anyone know who make the computer device that was being used by the Heavy Putter company?

Also, who else makes computer equipment for putting? I know about v1putt, but thats about it.

Heavy Putters uses equipment from a German company, Science and Motion Golf.

http://www.scienceandmotion.de/index.php?lang=en

If I saw it right, I think the Jim McLean show on Academy Live just this past Monday was using one. It's really good software/putter tracking that is putting specific. Other guys are more ball tracking and not as good as tracking putter head.

EDH Sport has an add-on to FlightScope that does putting.

There are others along the V1 lines which were designed for swing analysis but you can use it for putting by adding more high speed cameras, though the software side leaves out a lot of features that SAM lab has.

Great pics from the PB, I was just wandering if you know anything about the bracelets that some of the players and caddies were wearing. I think they were TRION-Z bracelets. If you have any info let me know thanks.

I saw Trion:Z Bracelets on Vijay (He had two on while practicing, and one on when playing) as well has his personal trainer, Bubba Watson had two pink ones on, Ryan Palmer, Roger Maltbie, and it seemed like 20-30 players and about half the caddies I saw had them on. One of the caddies was running around telling others that the pain he had in his shoulder for months was gone after putting the bracelet on.

Great pics!

Not sure how to copy an imagine into this post...but in the picture (9th from the bottom) some dude is wearing a Trion:Z magnetic wrist bracelet (it's blue and red)...does anyone know about these?

Here is the only other link I know of....Sonartec Trionz Bracelets

I know that magnet therapy is more mental, but I'm real curious about these...I'd love any info you guys may have.

Regards,

Tyler
