I got the e-mail and the 10% as well, but don't you have to personally have the code e-mailed to you from eBay to use it?

 

In the past it's never been "multiple use, by more than one party"...

 

Maybe it's changed, which is great- but it's never been like that before.

Do they take the 30% cashback, and then the 10%? Meaning, $200 item.. should get $60 cash back, but only pay $180 upfront, and get the $60 later after it all goes through that horrendous 60 day waiting period..

I'd assume it takes the 10% first, since it's instant, and then you get the cashback off whats left.

the 10% does stack with the live cashback... many people have had problems with coupon codes @ places like footlocker and other e-tailers but the ebay coupon doesn't affect how much is registered as payment... the seller of the item is still paid full price and therefore goes unnoticed by microsoft... any issues and you can take a look over @ slickdeals for their ebay/cashback threads

If this is like the past coupons, the 10% only works if you also received the offer. So if the code doesn't show up on your own "my ebay" page or on the front page or in an email from ebay, it wont work for you. (it will take the code at first, but before checkout it will say "this coupons code is linked to another account" or something like that.

Worked for me on the first try. It can only be used once apparently and only takes the 10% off the merchandise total. Won't take 10% of the combined merchandise & shipping total.

It's the least Ebay could do for their customers after changing their format.

I tried this last night and again today, no luck. It showed the discount but once logged into PayPal it told me it was not valid.
