Spin on B330s and Z-UR / Z-URS?

How do they compare w/ProV1?

Does anyone have any info on the spin rates of the B330s and the Srizon ZUR balls? I've been playing the V1x, but want to switch to something a little softer around the greens. I've tried the regular V1, and it just spins way too much with full iron shots for me (course I play has very soft greens, and you can suck those things back literally 25 feet).

I was thinking of trying out the B330s and perhaps the ZURS, but if those spin as much as the V1, they probably wont work? Anyone ever compare these balls?

I will never never never never play a regular ProV1 again. WAY too much spin on full shots, or I can't control it. The Z-UR/Z-URS spins much less than a regular ProV1, more like a ProV1x. Maybe a hair less spin than a ProV1x. I play a Z-UR normally.

B330s does not spin anywhere near V1 if that's what your concern is about.

Should give them a sleeve and try them out. All these premium balls are close these days in performance. Best to test them on course.... But yeah, B330s may have to right amount of spin for you.

In the Gold Digest Mag Hot List Edition ... It compared the Z-UR to the ProV1 and said the only difference was:

"It doesn't have ProV1 stamped on it"

I think you ought to try the Z-URS if you are a high spin guy - it is long, very long and spin is HX-Tour like around the green - maybe a tad less. But if you generate spin, it may be enough for you.

Another suggestion - try the NEW Nike One Black and Platinum - they've softened up the Black and Platinum, the Black gets a slightly lower trajectory and less spin than the Plat. Haven't tried it yet as I am a NOP fan, but the new Black may be as long as the Z-URS. I'ts worth a sleeve.

... the prov1 doesn't spin like a gyroscope on hard, fast, tour caliber greens, but on public courses i have spun them back into water. the b330s is my favorite ball, followed very closely by the z-urs. the b330s spins a touch more and is softer off the putter. they are both worth demo'ing if you are comin from a prov1x imo, which is my third choice, but may be the most durable of the 3...
