Adam Scott switches to 905R

Nearly gets sound man on the 18th....

Hello all,

Just spotted Adam Scott in the Johnny Walker Classic and it looks
like he's finally switched to the 905R.

The second pic shows his drive on the 18th nearly catching out the sound man......

i see alot of tour players that arnt even sposered by titleist with the 905r

 

im sure it is a players 460 cc head

 

i seen one in person and looks like a t but 455cc

 

i love it and will try it out on a demo day

He used a 983E dot model, made especially for him. He also used the 983K. But it doesn't surprise me about his distance increase, he's finally got a driver dialed in for his game. Should be a nice year for Adam.

I am a fan of Adam's. Croonie is correct about the 983e dot. A very rare driver, the only one I ever saw was on ebay with a UST proto 76g, BSG said it was a backup he never used because it was too light. My understanding is that he played the dot with a 96g UST proto.

The dot supposedly had the launch characterisitcs of a K with the spin characteristics of an E

adam scott is currently playing my dream bag, down to every last club. 905R w/ V2, F3-05, 695mbs, some vokey prototypes, and a GSS Scotty. wow i would :drinks: for this setup!

Great player young scott.

 

I think when he gets older and more confident the majors will come. I must admit it worried me the way he copied tiger in every way when he first burst onto the scene, i hope he finds himself and his own game
