so lets talk food
What is everyone favorite meal?

I 'll start with my top 3 in no particluar order

Grilled Ribeye steak - rare
backed potatoe
corn on the cob
Spainach salad

Coconut shrimp - hand dipped by me
Hash Brown Potatoes
Califlower
Spainach salad

Grilled marinated venison loin - rare once again
Mashed potatoe
Cream Corn
Coleslaw

All of these meals are prepared by me. I love to cook

So lets here yours favorite meals to prepare and eat.

I am the traditional Maet and Potatoe guys so mine would look like this.............

 

Filet Mignon (Medium Rare)

Hoersradish Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Corn on the Cob (fixed on the ole gas grill)

and of course a salad for the greens tossed with Poppy Seed Dressing

 

I love to cook all kinds of food but love to cook on the grill the best.

I cook just about everything and I mean everything on the grill.

 

 

Now I am hungry too and must go EAT!!

I also LOVE to cook and grill...

 

I will try to hold it only to 3 dinners though.

 

jumbo lump crab cakes made with my own secret recipe

broiled

 

fresh sting beans again broiled with scallions and garlic and olive oil

 

and baby red potatoes sauted in butter and scalions in a white wine sauce.

 

next

 

I freshly thick cut rib eye, filet or porterhouse steak, medium

 

silver queen corn on the cob

 

and some baked potato with butter

 

last but not least

 

I love ham!!!! baked ham spiral cut thickly sliced or cut any way possible

 

home made mashed potatos made with heavy whipping cream and butter

 

and peas....

 

 

Man I am heading down stairs for a snack!!!!!

I grew up down south so I love my cajun, yet since living in the NE, I have found a love for seafood aswell.

 

Pre-Meal (Around 2) -

Crawfish Boil - Cook 100 pounds and invite the whole neighborhood over - nice and spicy, lots of crab boil, Tony C's.

 

App -

King Crab Legs (served w/ lemon, butter, and parsely)

Side of Fried Frog Legs (SOO good)

 

Meal Port. 1 -

Maine Lobster - steamed in seaweed not boiled

12 Maine Scallops - Wrapped in Bacon - Broiled w/ Lemon, Parsley, and 2 drops of Tabasco on each - served of course on a leaf of lettuce, if you really want to go big, toss some feta cheese on the dish, adds a distinct flavour.

 

Meal Port. 2 -

Bowl of my Grandpa's Famous Etoufé (all the southern boys know was this is) - Loaded with crawdads served on Long Grain White Rice.

 

Drink of Choice - Southern Sweet Tea, none of the fake Nestea sweetened stuff - Go to any Cracker Barrel South of Virginia, and ya'll will know what I'm talking about.

 

Dessert - Of course Pecan Pie - and some Hot Beignets brought straight from Coffee Call in Baton Rouge - If you're in New Orleans anytime soon, go to a local Cafe Du Mondé and have some beignets, they are amazing.

 

That should fill any brother up :D

cpa and shoe, I will post this recipe for all to enjoy but just makes sure if one you guys become rich and famous because of this recipe you don't forget were you got it from.... lol

 

1 lb of jumbo lump crab meat... make sure you pick out the shells if you can

1 Tbsp. parsley

1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

2 Eggs beaten

1/2 cup of cracker cumbers

3 Tbsp. of Mayonnaise

1 Tbsp. of mustard

1/4 cup of butter or margarine... I like to use butter

 

3 Tbsp. of "old bay" seasoning ( It is a regional spice mix found here in MD. ) Let me know if any one needs some I will be more than happy to send it your way.... It is also very good in Bloody Marys....

 

 

I like to mix the crab meat and the cracker crumbs together, you do not have to use all the crumbs I just mix enough to hold it together.... Once you get the meat and crumbs mixed together Mix the other ingredients together until you form a paste, shape into loose balls. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ALL OF THE LIQUID MIXTURE JUST USE ENOUGH TO GET EVERYTHING TO STICK TOGETHER!!!! Broil at 475 degrees for 8-12

minutes.

 

Try to avoid using any PASTEURIZED CRAB MEAT....

 

Recipe works best with JUMBO LUMP CRAB MEAT

 

Sometimes I will use crushed Ritz crackers or Keebler House crackers....

Just finished, Prime Rib Roast on my barbeque rotisserie, twice baked cheesy potatoes and cesar salad. Dessert will be chocolate cream pie :)

:miz: and lots of Pyramid Hefeweizen :D

 

 

I love hefewizen, but never heard of Pyramid. Is that a local Brew?

 

Yes it's brewed up in Washington state and pretty much a corner stone weizen beer here in California :cheesy:
