Hi- I'm new to this site and this question may have already been answered, but does anybody know when the Titleist 905R will be available in golf stores?

I was just at Golf Galaxy the other night and spoke to one of the managers. They are expected out some time in April I believe.

I just ordered one today through the shop at my club. They begin shipping in early to mid March.

What shafts will be available? I currently have the speeder in my 905T but I'm thinking about getting a Diamana in the 905R. Any thoughts?

You can get the Diamana Blueboard in 63,73,or 83 gram. I've heard the Redboard will not be an option.

I apologize if this question's been answered somewhere else.

I play the 983K (9.5 in YS-6), and am quite happy with it. I'm considering a switch to the 905R, based on what I've heard about it.

I'm wondering if anyone can expound on the differences and/or similarities between the two, specifically regarding ball flight. In other words, how does a 9.5 degree R compare to the same loft in a K? Does the ball fly higher, as I've heard it does?

Just wondering which loft to order...would prefer to get on a launch monitor to figure this out, but may go ahead with an order in the next few days.
