Fuji 757 vs. UST V2 75

ive finally decided to pull my stock speeder from my 983k and ive narrowed my new shaft down to these two options. can anyone give me a quick stats comparison and/or personal opinion before i go try them? Thanks!

i have used both shafts in a big bertha fusion ft-3 tour. the only difference is the ust shaft launches the ball a bit higher.

I have a UST V2 stiff on my 905T 9.5*, prior to that i have an aldila NV, the V2 is much straighter in my opinion and the trajectory to me is medium and penetrating. This is a 75.00 shaft compared to 300.00 on the Fujikura or diamana.

I had a really hard time believing that the V2 could even compete with the 757 with that huge price difference, but I have no problem shelling out less $!

Have a fuji 757 speeder x flex in my 983k 9.5 degree, overall the club feels heavier than any other driver I have used. The head has no serial no. which is supposed to be some tour type club, but Im not sure. Ball flight is much lower than my 983k 10.5 degree with a titleist speeder stiff, and is also more accurte off the tee as well. This shaft is probably a little to stiff for me as distance doesnt compare with other drivers I have hit with stock shafts, but I alredy hit the ball a healthy distance so it doesnt bother me. If accuracy is outwaying distance, then I wouldnt hesitate in recommending the 757, I havent tried the v2, but will give one a go shortly and get back to let you know how it felt.

I play the 905T with the Speeder 757 and it is a great driver. i also play the V2. I AM SWITCHING FROM THE SPEEDER 757 TO THE V2 WHEN I GET MY NEW 905R in the spring. The V2 is tighter, flatter launching, and more accurate. it also isnt a $250 upcharge, money has nothing to do with my decision i just like the V2 better.

The Speeder in it's day was the BEST shaft on the planet. That day has past now and there are several as good or better, like the V2 series and Accra's from UST. There are others but, the V2 75 is, IMHO, better and quite a bit cheaper with similare characteristics.

Not sure if you mean that the 757 is better because it costs more but if that is the point then :D
