The 909F3 features a tour proven, modern profile that creates a deeper CG for greater stability. The smaller, deeper face of 909F3 provides confidence for players who want shot and trajectory control, while half degree stronger lofts compared to 909F2 promotes a flatter ball flight and trajectory control.

 

Each 909F3 is constructed with a precision cast 17-4 Stainless Steel body and 275 Carpenter Steel face insert for a lively feel and increased ball speed. The multi relief sole minimizes turf resistance and ensures that the ground contact point remains forward to reduce bounce and skip at impact.

 

The factory installed SureFit Swingweight Screw helps to position the CG deep while also providing a precise head to shaft match.

I picked up the 13* with VooDoo for Titleist. After a few rounds and plenty of range time it's definitely a keeper. Very long with a mid trajectory. Solid off the club and the stock VooDoo is very smooth (so much that i ordered an F2 18.5* with this shaft). This club is almost as long as my driver, but more controlled. The deeper face is not as confidence-inspiring as the F2 from tight fairway lies. If you're looking for more control off the tee on tight par 4's/par5's this is the club.

Ive got a Titleist 909F3 fairway wood (15 degree ) its fitted with a Whiteboard Diamana 83 gram x flex and the club is awsome !!! great ball flight "for me" as im a high ball hitter... my swing speed is 112-114mph..it flies on a nice penetrating flight and even get a decent amount of roll after it releases..it also performs great of the deck for me.... this combo of shaft and club is great it will say in my bag for a very long time...awsome club :good:

I was Debating between this club, the 909f2 and the Taylormade R9. I know i may be getting some mixed and biased reviews but for those who have tried them what do you think?

I'm in pretty much the same position as you right now -- I'm debating between the R9 and the 909F3 fairways. I picked up demos of both clubs today and I'll be heading to the range tomorrow and then testing both on the course on Saturday. I'll put another post up and let you know what I think. Both clubs are Stiff shafts too (909F3 with the Voodoo, R9 with the Motore)

****UPDATE****

I just got done from a range session with my new 3 wood! After testing the R9 and the 909F3 for a couple days, I decided to go with the R9. For me, the R9 launched higher, landed softer, and was much more versatile than the 909F3. The 909F3 was a little hard to hit out of tight fairway lies for me. The R9 was VERY long as well. On one hole (Par 4 - 314 Yards, slight dogleg left, gaurded by sandtraps) i hit a beautiful fade to about 30 yards from the green. Longest 3 wood I've ever hit. But don't take my word for it, try both clubs out yourself so you can decide.

Stock voodoo is a noodle. Love the head and the feel, but I ordered the Titleist Voodoo in an X flex and it feels and plays like a weak stiff. Off to have this reshafted. I wish Titleist and other companies would offer better stock shafts.

Just ordered the 18* model, wow was this awesome on my demo, was killing it. How long does it take to get these from TITLIEST? Needed to get it in a X flex in the speeder 757, looking forward to this in my bag!!!!

Picked up a 15° w/Voodoo in X flex on BST as I havent had a 3W since the 906F4. This club is money both off the tee and off the fairway. The stock Voodoo in X flex seems to swing well for me even though i play a stiff in my driver. I gambled that the difference in flex combined with this shafts characteristics would equate to the typical increase in weight that most fwy shafts have over a driver shaft so as to provide more control. So far (for me) my theory is holding true.

Well I have played a few rounds with my new 909f3, 18* with the 757 speeder x flex shaft in it. WOW this is awesome, what a great feel, sound, and look, the performance of this club is AWESOME!!!!!! I am very glad that I bought this.......

Great club...Used it for a year. Moving on to the R11 though

Picked up a 15 degree with a YS6+ fairway shaft off eBay for cheap. Always played Callaway fairways aside from the 904F, and I have to say I love the 909F3. Easy to hit, great trajectory, long, and easy to work both ways. I like the look of the smaller head and deep face. Chose this over the R9.
