Demo'd the X-Tour Wedges

Had a chance to hit these today at my local clubmaker. I hit the 60* w/11* of bounce, P Grind and MD grooves. The feel is excellent and the grind is awesome. However, the grooves are AGGRESSIVE!!!! I'd recommend anyone looking into the 60* to see if your local store has a demo for you to take out on the course and play a round with your ball of choice. I was hitting B330's and Titleist Pro V's in the store and half of the ball was stuck in the grooves when it was all said and done. Only the lob wedge (58 or 60) will have the MD grooves, so your gap and sand wedge would be safe.

Is the Forged+ being dropped? These sound like a good launch. Quite fancy a 60* with the MD grooves. Thanks for the review and all he information on them.

The grooves are very aggressive in the lob. The MD grooves will rival the Y grooves on TM's. I still like my RAC TP's better, but these are very good preformers.

I can't even imagine the HX balls that shred on a 7 iron hooking up with these razors. Sounds like a brutal combo. Can't wait to see these clubs, any pics anywhere?

I would love to get my hands on them as I've just had a bag change..... X-Tours in my bags now...

 

Can you possibly give me the name of a store that will be stocking the X Tour wedges as I may get them shipped over to Scotland.
