reshafting irons?

what it is golfer..............a good friend of mine asked me to ask fellow golfers the typical price range for reshafting a set of 3-pw steel irons........basically, he's wanting to upgrade his shaft but if it turns out to be as much as buying a new set of irons, then he might consider that..........

from 20-30 per head typically.. so 8 heads... 160-240 bucks.

does that include the complete project with shaft of choice or just the install part.......and the price of shaft is added to that?

 

can your grips from the old shaft be regripped into the new shaft?

 

i was looking on golfsmith.com in their clubmaking department and saw that on some shaft, they offer some shaft as a unit.......does this typically mean 3-pw?

correct you can by the 3-pw set ..

 

 

 

unless u go to an expensive shaft..like a project x..

 

each shaft is just under 10 bucks with the DG series... so its just under 80 for the shafts...

 

for me that price is with shaft.
