Nike SV Wedges

Looking to pick up a Nike SV 52 and 56 combo or even a 52 and 58 combo. Any thoughts on those wedges? I like the shape and cost. I hit them at the store and they felt nice, however, store hits into a net is totally different than on-course play.

I have the 52,58. The spin you can put on the ball is great.Great price 74.99 at golf smith in the Deluth store. And yes the mats help some ;) , but on the those hard greens the one hop and stop is great. :D

I play these. They put the best spin on the ball of any wedge I have played. I play 54 and 60.

Wedges like putters are personal. To you, Vokey and tm wedges are the big dogs, to me...Cleveland are the most consistent wedges I have come across.

The SV wedges have the look, now I am concerned about performance...nice to have a back up to the Cleveland...

i've demoed them on a range, but not on a pitching green. for full and half swing they felt as good as my vokey's. recently considered these, but since it was the nike forged i was replacing i was reluctant. also the bounce seems high on them. they are sharp looking wedges though. would be curious to try them on a pitching green see how they work for short chips and the spin.

I had a 54* SV and I didn't like it. The spin was great but I hit my 60* longer than I did this club. I think it had to with the S-400 shaft. It felt way too heavy. I traded it in for a Spin Milled 54*10 and it will not be leaving my bag anytime soon.

I love mine. The spin rates are fine, and I like the feel that they have. The thing I like the most about them is the shape. When I set one down, just the entire shape of the head looks great to me, the SV's have a shape unlike many of the other wedges out now, hard to describe, you just have to set them down and look. I guess maybe the lines / shape of the head is more "exact" or "defined", not so rounded like many others.

The one and only thing I would change, is to go to more of a matte style finish like a CG10 Black Pearl or TM RAC TP Black.

But other than that, they are amazing, don't be scared by the low price tag, they are easily as good, if not better, than many $120+ wedges out there.
