Dunlop LoCo Pro / LoCo Pro HT balls

A less expensive ProV1? Opinions?

Ok, I've heard a lot about the Dunlop line of balls. The LoCo Pro and LoCo Pro HT are supposed to be pretty close to ProV1s...anyone play these balls? They're much cheaper than ProV's for sure.

I read in another thread the Daly is playing ProV's again--not a great endorsement for the LoCo line.

Anyone using these pellets and can offer an opinion?

i have tried them and they are a good inexpensive multilayer ball, but they are at no point close to pro v1. i would say they are closer to the nxt tour, but not on par. best comparison i could make for them is the top flite strata tour soft, which i've always liked.

Talked to the Dunlop rep today at a demo day, and he said the LoCo Pro's are being phased out. To be replaced by what he called the "Pro D" @ $29.95/doz.

Said it was closer to a ProV...we'll see.

I read in another thread the Daly is playing ProV's again--not a great endorsement for the LoCo line.

Since Daly is not with Dunlop anymore...I don't think it matter and I don't think he played that particular ball, anyway. He supposedly played it in 2004 but I'd guess not recently.
