Lessons from a LPGA Pro

So guys, would you take lessons from a well recommended LPGA Pro? She has coached at least one current PGA tour Pro.

I have never taken lessons before, been playing on and off since '93.

I will definitely be taking a few lessons from her. My wife bought me a couple of lessons for valentine's day.

I was curious if any guys would have too much ego to take lessons from an LPGA Pro. My game needs all the help I can get!

The key phrase is that "she was highly recommended"...

My husband took lessons from an LPGA pro and believe me, he was such a misongynistic jock he was really sceptical...but he did better with her than some of the men he took lessons with.

Proof is in the results.

I don't care about gender--all I need is a) a correct diagnosis; b) a plan of correction; and c) an ability to communicate.

You get those 3 and I don't care if the pro is a talking squirrel....

A pro is a pro. If they help your swing, are nice, and communicate than go for it.

Sometimes you can understand someone of your own gender better than the opposite. I think that is kind of an evolution thing with the different learning styles but if I had a choice between a male or female instructor, I would first judge them by how they communicate and their personality and then by their gender.
