SMT Drivers

Those of you that have hit these drivers, have you noticeda significant increase in distance? What I mean is - I usually hit 300-340 off the tee 95% of the time (unless I try to crush it, as you all know can be a costly mistake). How much distance can a 300+ guy expect to gain by using a SMT driver? Esp interested in the Nemesis. Thanks - Joe

It depends on how well the driver head and shaft are suited for your swing. If you get the wrong loft of head or shaft you may not see any increase in distance.

If you get properly fitted and can optimize your launch conditions you may gain a few yards. If your current setup is perfect for you though you may not see much difference with SMT or any other company out there.

The only significant increase I have gotten in distance was going to a larger more forgiving driver. I get much more distance on mis-hits.

SMT does make quality clubs and they stand behind their product. Their customer service is really good.

Yeah, what XJustice said ... but I don't think you'll be disappointed. I've hit the longest drives of my life with mine (of course, my swing is better and the technology keeps improving). Prior to that I was using a Tour Edge 320J that was then "the longest driver I had ever used." Still, I may pick up one of SMT's new models this year. It's easy to like the company and its products.
