I voted "4"

Three pairs of Adidas 36 LTD:
brown with brown stripes; white with black stripes; black with white stripes

One pair of Ecco World Class:
white with brown (croc. pattern) accents

Until I tried the Ecco WC's, I'd thought the 360 LTD's were the best shoes available (and they are great)... but the Ecco's are really great.

Titleist.

I want to see a photo of anyone voting for more than 1 :cheesy:

:worth:

With that now done, I do own 5 pair that I rotate...but I'm phasing three of them out and hoping to replace them with another pair of Classics. I really feel a Classics collection starting--I purchased my first pair a month ago, and they are awesome. I'm moving out the 3 pair of Adidas Tour 360's...
I started with two pairs of FJ Classic Premiere whatevers ($300 retail). I love the custom feel like a high end dress shoe and look, but that's where it ends. The first pair I had I had to send back to Acushnet because the left one was cutting into the top of my foot by my big toe. To their credit, they immediately sent me a voucher to replace them with any pair at the local golf shop. Naturally, the golf pro was suspicious but when they called, it was legit. So I got another similar pair and it was fine. My other pair never gave me any problems. BUT, the problem is with the spike design! They both use that small metal thread design. In my brown and white ones, one spike is rusted in place and another one when I tried to remove it I guess broke the insert and now the female part just spins inside the sole. On my other ones, I also had an issue where a spike rusted in place. I completely tore off the plastic part and have destroyed the metal part, but the screw part is still "welded" in place. Oh, and the shoes are heavy. I play a lot of golf so maybe I didn't care for them like I should. Maybe you should have to loosen the spikes each round to make sure they're not rusting in. Or maybe they should make a shoe that doesn't do this. Oh, also, my white and brown faux-ostrich shoes cracked severely across all the flex points. I think the design of the smooth white toe/saddle shoe style are prone to this. My defect did it quickly and then so did the replacements. My black, faux-alligator have a different design (long channels running the length of the shoe) and didn't ever crack.

Granted, my other pair (less expensive Ecco with the plastic Champ spikes) have their own issues. Sometimes the plastic spike holder gets damaged (if you lose a spike and don't realize it) and then it won't ever hold a spike. I lost a few toe spikes in rapid succession so now I don't have them. My old Nike's had a similar spike and had the same problem.

I think in the future I'll look for more of a very supportive, comfortable, well built athletic shoe than a dress shoe like the Classic Premieres.

I feel like imelda marcos....

8 pairs of adidas
7 pairs of nike
3 pairs of footjoys
2 pairs of oakleys

I wear the brand of shoe that matches my outfit for the day. For example, if I am wearing nike shirt and shorts, then I have to wear Nike hat, socks, and shoes. If I have a white hat, it needs to be complemented with the white belt and white shoes....

OK.... yes.... as I type, I have to admit... this sounds kind of..... ugggghhhh.... feminine? Time to turn in my man card!

I am still looking for an underarmour golf shoe to complement my underarmour golf shirts.... then the cycle will be complete!

Ordering these for range/casual wear. Hopefully it'll have somewhat descent traction.

Where can I get these??????!!!!!!!!!clapping.gif

Mizuno makes baseball cleats and trainers that you can get any sporting good store. Get a pair of training cleats.

I got 3:

a pair of old-ish Callaway Sport Saddles in white that I took the spikes out and wear to the range/work

a pair of Puma Course Saddles in black. Wear them on muddy days/walking rounds

a pair of Adidas Adipure Z's in White/black that I wear for nicer rounds and cart days.

I saw these in Thailand and as much as I love Mizuno products, I passed on them because they looked and felt too plastic. Opted for a pair of ASICS, also with a plastic look and feel, but, though they have slightly better style.

BTW -

2 pairs of mudders - FJ & Etonics

6 pairs of fair weather golf shoes - FJ, PUMA & Adidas

Ordering these for range/casual wear. Hopefully it'll have somewhat descent traction.
