Tattoo's yes or no

What's your point? Of course it is permissable for a doctor to have tattoos .

You read that and can't come to a conclusion of what my point is? Wow, I stand by my assessment of you.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA , of course I understand the text . You are assuming that we are all backward and old fashioned , well I'll have you know that I am not and nor are 99% of posters in this thread . And I'm sorry but what is there to look down on if someone doesn't have a tattoo? It would appear that having a tattoo gives you an arrogant sense of stature...... I ... I ....I ....

Don't feed them anymore. Difference between you and them? You make assessments, they jump to conclusions (which are born from assumptions.)

Like I posted before:

"I know what my tattoo represents, and to me, it makes ME a better person to ME, not versus or compared to anyone else."

If they want to see me as having an arrogant stature because I have a tattoo, then they are forming conclusion way early. But again, don't feed them.

The thread title says "Tattoos Yes or no. With that question out there and people honestly answering, why has anyone of you with tattoos taken what was said personally. If man's behavior is different than alleged stereo types, seems he would be able to civilly talk about the subject without personalizing differences of opinion. Nobody said 'you' were bad. there I go, feeding again.

I'm stating that the text of the image inferrs that , I'm not stating that everyone with a tat is arrogant , fsr from it . I have had a good day (broke par for the first time) so I'm not wasting time on this

If your defensive remarks are suppose hurt my feelings, you are way younger than I imagined; it's rather entertaining though. Go ahead and make your childish remarks. I have been politic and NOT called anyone names here; but I won't put up with any insults or remarks about my wife or family... PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no problem with tattoos per se. I'm old school so I tend towards moderation so people that really load up on them isn't necessarily my cup of tea. Somewhat like a pierced ear vs a face full of chrome doodads. As others have posted, when I meet someone on the course manners and pace of play has preference over tattoos.

Wow! So many generalizations, assumptions, and stereotyping in this thread. It's ridiculous. I very well may have participated in some of this, I'll admit. But seriously, when you start throwing out statistics, numbers, etc for those with ink, you're literally pulling all this straight out of your a**. When you assume these folks need to find work, or won't find their ideal career choice, again, from your a**. They "might" regret their tattoos, but don't associate a percentage, number, or adverb to those that "might" or "will."

When you haven't' a single tattoo, don't try to lay judgement on why someone gets one or why someone made the mistake of getting one, or why they get one to begin with. You don't have a clue…so go on and assume you know the reasons for anything related to it. It's truly exhausting reading people's explanations and their expertise in their field and how that relates to people with ink.

If you don't like tattoos, fine. I honestly do not care. If you want to stereotype and judge me before getting to know me, that's on you, not me. Is it my fault, because I have tattoos, that you're going to prematurely categorize my lifestyle? Nope, you're the one with your own wheels spinning in your head. I just do what I do, walk my walk, live my life. You judge me. That's on you.

Don't pretend you know anything about people with tattoos or why they get them, or where they're going, when you're a blank canvas…

tattoos are gross. If you have one you smell and probably reek of cigarettes ....

No way that guy is a real doctor in that photo. I don't know any doctors with a sleeve tattoo... And I work in multiple hospitals!
[/quote]

My point exactly, read my previous post. Pulled right out of your a**. That's right dude, we all smell like ash trays. And of course you know every doctor, right? Genius at work here gentleman, everyone step aside.
