Is it worth $50 for 2 years?

I already subscribe to Golf Magazine and The TOUR Partners magazine. Both offer interesting articles, tips, etc. But Golfweek seems to have found a niche in that it's devoted to tournament play and professional golfers.

$50 for 2 years isn't all that bad, because it's 88 issues. Anyone subscribe? Is it worth the money? Do they report all lots of different TOURs or jus the major ones?

Thanks in advance, I always find the answers I'm looking for in this knowledgeable bunch of golfers!

We get it here at the office and we fight over it when it first arrives each week. I think its one of the best at covering the various tours.

 

I think its worth the money its a good read. Almost as good as it is here ;)

I have found that many magazines can be had for much lower prices or even free. I have a free Golfweek subscription. I found the information on a bargain hunters website called www.fatwallet.com.

 

IMHO the magazine is ok, not great. It is a quick read.

Agree completely.

 

Great for free, but if I had to pay for it...well, no. Just not a lot of content there.

 

Golf Digest, Golf, Golf Tips, etc. are all better (then again, all those are free too, but I'd actually consider paying for them)

Bid for them on ebay. You'll pay $20 for 2 years on quite a few of them.

Golfweek is a good weekly magazine, much better than GolfWorld IMO. You won't find the tips, etc. that you find in Golf Digest, but you also don't find a ton of advertising either. It's worth $50 for 2 years, which works out to less than 60 cents per issue.

yup fatwallet is the best...no catch involved either...i get a ton of different magazines, including Golfweek, for free

Nope, not worth it considering I've gotten it for free the past three years.

I also get it free from the CDGA. I like getting it every week, but i dont know what i would pay for it.

I get both the ones you mentioned, and golf week, and really like it. I think it's worth it.
