How much will these wedges cost below and are they forged? The cast retail looks a bit too rounded for me and the couple pictured below look to have nice looking sharp edges.

The first five pictures are of the new 1018 Forged line. The next seven are Custom/Tour Shop offerings. The last four are 1018 Forged again. The 1018 Forged line will be running at $150. The Custom/Tour Shop wedges will sell for $350.

Thanks,

Kevin

Thanks for the clarification. The 1018's look really nice!

Can the irons be ordered raw, w/o any finish, if so...still means the custom pricier route?

I wouldn't see why not, as we offer all the rest of the finishes and they all have to start raw. I've never seen a set of irons done raw, but I imagine they would look very sharp once they get to rusting up a bit! But yes, they would fall into the Custom Studio pricing, but just think of all the options!

Let me know if I can help.

All the best,

Kevin

Thanks Kevin. I was just looking for away around the custom route, figured I could try the old oil treatment myself and save a few pennies :busted2:

Kevin,

WHat are the grooves going to be like on the new forged 1018's? Are they square; I hope so- for a second there when I saw fingerprints I was thinking you guys had milled the face similar to Vokeys but I don't guess that is the case. Looking good!

Mark

Also are there any stores in the Nashville, Tn area selling Scratch?

Mark,

The grooves on the 1018s are boxed grooves. They are, however, slightly rounded at the edges, in order for us to reduce the amount of chewing that our wedges do to golf balls. It is called ABC Grooves (All Bite, No Cover).

On the milling front, we are going to offer, in the Custom Shop, milled faces on the wedges. I believe that the plan is still to have the milling done by Bettinardi. Unless that has changed and nobody told me!

We'll be fully up and running in Chattanooga in just a matter of days. We'll start doing fittings around the first of June. And we'll be expanding our shop base, so if there isn't a shop in Nashville yet, there will be. And you can always come and see us in Chattanooga!

All the best,

Kevin

Kevin,

Any plans for a demo day in Michigan?

Thanks

Matt

Matt,

I don't have a set demo schedule at this point, but I imagine that with some of the boys being from Michigan that we'll try to do something once the weather turns. Just keep checking in and when we have a schedule or an event to announce we'll post it well enough in advance to let you plan for it!

Cheers,

Kevin

Kevin,

Thanks, I'll check back. Do you think you will post the schedule on the Scratch Website, or in your blog?

Being from Northern Ohio, I am sure you are aware that over 40 degrees means the weather has turned ;).

Also any good natured rivalry going on about football (Michigan--OSU) I don't know Ari's alleigance, but I seem to remember reading he had maize and blue hosels at one point, and well you are from Ohio so you have to like OSU by law or something.

Thanks,

Matt

Matt,

I've been told that the boys don't like the red in some of the hats that I designed for our tour guys. Apparently red with white lettering and white with red lettering is too close to OSU colors. So, I've got to go and "rework" a couple color schemes. They're so sensitive!

All the demo schedules will be posted here and on the website for maximum exposure.

It was 47 degrees here today and I hit balls for the first time in two weeks. I've got a LONG way to go to get myself in fighting shape! As for the weather turning, I'll believe it when it is over 50 for more than two days in a row and without a forecast for snow!

Cheers,

Kevin
