I guess this week we learn that even when trying to compliment Tiger Woods, you have to be careful what you say. Stepehen Ames now knows that. The "Six Million Dollar Glove"
While specific technological advancements have made hard goods better for the average duffer, one of the less talked about areas where technology is also having an impact is in golf gloves. The product which comes to mind is the Bionic Golf Glove, manufactured by sporting goods legend, and Louisville-based Hillerich and Bradsby, maker of the legendary Louisville Slugger.



A key development in late January might put the glove on the map, at least on the Sr. Tour and with a very large segment of recreational golfers - those with arthritis. The USGA informed Hillerich & Bradsby Co., that it will permit wear of the Bionic Golf Glove in USGA sanctioned events for players with arthritis of the hands. The USGA has placed the Bionic Golf Glove on a List of Equipment Permitted Conditionally for Medical Reasons.
