What is Phill thinking?

If Phill is going to rock the white belt then he must go all the way and wear White shoes. He's got a White hat, Blue shirt, White belt, Black slacks and Black shoes on. It looks like he mixed up two different outfits. That is just nasty.

Phil looks horrible out there and should not be wearing a white belt at all even if he wears white shoes. He's not 20 yrs old and is not the slimmest golfer on tour. He may look boring in black shoes, black slacks, black belt and a white shirt with black hat but that is what he should stick to. Nothing worse then a guy or woman who tries to hard in the fashion area by wearing clothes and accessories that are 20 yrs their junior.

 

Just my two cents, leave the white belts and tighter fitting shirts to the younger/fitter guys on tour.

Everyone has to find their own style. Phil just hasn't found his yet, maybe. It strikes me as odd when Phil tries to rock the white belt because it doesn't go with the rest of his clothes.

 

But I would take his game and look goofy, so who am I to judge. The belt could have been a gift or something.

I disagree actually, he looks worse in the larger sizes (as most folks do). Slimmer cut stuff makes you look better, so long as it's tailored properly. Naturally there are exceptions to that rule, but Phil isn't one. His clothes are just blah in general, all solid color and never anything stylish except his belt (the material, not the color...haha). Imo, he'd benefit from a deal with Burberry. Not saying they oughta put him in the same gear as Adam Scott, but Phil would look alot better decked out in some clothes that are actually stylish.

Beyond that though, him and Stewart Cink have officially made me decide that it's no longer cool to wear a white belt...lol. Not that I did anyway, but it just doesn't look right on either of them. They have ruined it.

As for phil going to a bigger shirt, he's not that fat. He's a bit chunky yes but its not like we're watching John Daly squeeze into a size L shirt here. I don't think his clothes have been too bad as of late.

THe white belt used to be a Euro thing.. its finding its way to the states as a fashion statement. Maybe the amount of europeans on the tour have influenced the fashion trend, seems to be the norm now almost.... if you want to dress snappy you gotta have the white belt.

his shirts looked good. he has slimmed a tad and he looks better in that size than the larger ones. but that white belt? oh hellz no. i was mortified when i saw it. i would rank Phil among the few who always look sharply dressed out there. i mean hello?...its not hard not to rock a $250 Marbas shirt and not look nice but back to the belt....

 

WHAT WAS HE THINKING?!?! It only accentuated just how slim he wasn't. HE probably fell into the trap of losing a few pounds...pants are a little looser.....thinking he was slimmer than he really was...and got sucked in to the fad....

 

 

Phil is not a white shoe kinda guy.....or a white belt kinda guy. That amy....whoa.....for years I thought they had three daugters. :crazy:
