... you are correct that the pro95 will go higher than the nv85, but it will not feel stiffer. the nv85 is the stiffest weight in the line ... the pro95 is most defintely softer than the nv 85. i'd get the pro95.

between the pro95 and the v2 85/95, which would play stiffer in an x-flex...(v-steel 15*,) for someone who hits the ball high, driver club head speed is about 120. Where can I get the pro95 or v2 85/95, and is there anyone trustworthy to put it on, i live in western pa and here alot about joe K but don't know anything about him, and am not 100% confident after reading some of the horror stories on this site about people doing club work.

i know joe well ... in addition to doing club work, i play with him regularly and share a few meals as well :-).

joe's the best you'll find to do club work. meticulous down to the last quarter swingweight. he can do whatever you need done and do it perfectly. you'll never find anyone who questions joe's reputation.

can't answer the v2 85/95 vs. pro 95 as i haven't tried the former yet.

I'm not gonna talk about my self here. I'm not a NATO member ( No Action Talk Only :kewlpics: ).

Pro 95 will hit slightly higher compare to the other 2 of the V2 you've mention. Pro 95 feel softer and smoother. The V2 feel more rigid and tighter, in exchange not as friendly for a non consistent swinger and V2 build for a real strong hitter w/ good acceleration. Don't get me wrong here, pro 95 is that type of shaft too but just not as demanding and friendlier for a swinger.

For example, i'm more of a swinger and i can handle better pro 95 compare w/ those V2 ( I just don't like a 3 wood shaft over 80 gr ). I can hit them but the pro 95 feel easier to get the right result for me, versus my friend who are a strong swinger all around ( back and down swing ), he love his 905T w/ that v2. He can slam it as hard as he need to without loosing control and he told that pro 95 is a bit to loose for him if he try to go after the ball.

Hope that help!

Joe

Joe just put a V2 85 (86g) in a SS-07 14* for me, and his service and knowhow are second to none. Due to it being 25 degrees F outside, haven't had a chance to try it out though, but I've heard nothing but good things for the V2 line if you are a strong swinger.
