Tai, I am going to replace my two season old SM5's. I play 52/08 F& 58/08 M and love the setup. Just time for some fresh grooves in the bag. Being that I am a TM convert and all the clubs are just preforming better than expected I really want to give the MG's a chance. I have hit them in store and they feel great, same as my vokeys if not better imho. I have played Raw wedges for a while and I can say I do see the "retail" finish giving me issues.

We may be missing something in not just getting MD3's like a certain someone says are great. ?

I would think the ball flight would be higher with the Tm heads, so I would pick based off your desired flight. If they will be the same go with the poll I guess.

The 716 line up is unbeatable as far as combo sets go. So many options, they can fit anybody. I love mine.

The 115's are tour only, not many sets exist from my understanding. I was fit with the 95's so I knew the numbers were good and I'm still not sure how they will perform on the course, but on paper the 115's would probably be a little better.

We will have to compare notes on the Fuji's, I skipped the Tour Spec version though. Should be here tomorrow.

Reading comments above on the TM wedges and having spent time practicing short game into a setting sun with chrome wedges, I worry for you. Bothered me so much yesterday that I'm looking at some other wedges.

Can you Scotchbrite? Wedges from what I've seen on course with them are really solid.

This was what I was wondering as well? Maybe some rough steel wool on the heel/toe/topline to kill any glare.

Have to say after catching up on the last 4 pages just now, I'm really kind of shocked on what's transpired since I've last checked in. With that I'd like to say welcome to the darkside with graphite iron shafts (personally I've never thought I'd like/play graphite but the SF 95's will be in every set for the foreseeable future). For me they've been a game changer, but my ss is considerably slower than yours.

After a few weeks I added just a small bit of leadtape to the heads to get the swing weight I was use to. Any plans on adding weight to get the swing weights closer to what your used to?

Really quite interested to hear what you think after 4-5 weeks of using them. Honestly I think you'll like them, but after regaining your old "playing strength" you may move back to steel. It's just a guess though...

What made you pick the PROs over other graphite shafts? The EI profile on these are interesting.

If they came in 115, they would be ideal but even in 95's they profile felt the best to me. The numbers were best with them and the SteelFiber 110x. The Fuji's bend profile in the Tour Spec is supposedly based off the X100. I can say that I liked the way they felt and loaded the best out of the 3. The irons will be done today, I plan on playing tomorrow and I'm pretty excited to see how they do on the course!

This was put up last night on GolfWRX's Instagram page, can't thanks the folks here enough for the shot out :drinks: :drinks: :drinks:

My Instagram page and text messages started going off and I was like.. "wtf?" then I saw this and thought it was pretty cool and nice of GolfWRX to acknowledge this thread and the people who post in it. It's really crazy to think about all the changes over the years and more importantly how much life has changed since the beginning of this thread, friends I've made, memories shared, and great times and experiences 100% because of this site and the people on it. Thank you to everyone here for sharing the same craziness and enthusiasm I have towards equipment and the game of golf. Also, thanks for your feedback and constructive thoughts - this is 100% the reason I came here in the first place and decided to share (or overshare) some of the experiences and reviews I've had with fellow WRX'ers as I have gained some valuable knowledge that was spot on when literally nowhere else could provide it.

Anyways - just wanted to thank you guys and GolfWRX for making this fun over the years! :golfer:

SM6 51F, 55V, 60V - Fuji MCI 125 Mild

I'm probably going to start a new thread reviewing the new setup and how it works with my surgery and recovery. After today's range session, I REAAAAAALLY liked what I saw, I mean.. really liked it. The static weight was noticeable, but swing weight is D4 and the way the clubs feel during the swing feel like something familiar and the ball flight was spot on, just WAAAAAAAY easier to hit and the feel is great. Disclaimer is that I won't have an on course review till tomorrow.. but so far, I haven't been this excited in a shaft in a little while.
