how often do you clean your clubs?

just wondering because im quite obsessive about cleaning my clubs/grips after each round.

Not necessarily my grips, but I clean my club after virtually every shot. Sometimes if I've just chipped onto the green and need to go putt out to keep up the pace of play, I'll clean that club once I get to the next tee box while my partners are hitting or something like that. So I can't honestly say that I clean them after every single shot without fail, but I clean them continuously throughout the round.

Try to carry a wet towel and clean after every shot. When they get kinda grubby, I wash after the round with ****&Span. Always put them away clean after the season.

Add me to the somewhat obsessive list; clean mine with a damp towel after each shot while playing. It just takes a second as i return them to the bag.

 

I try and keep them from getting too gritty in the sandy practice range soil buy dipping them in a range bucket of water every few shots and then a quick wipe.

 

I try and clean the grips with a brush and warm water every few rounds in the summer months because of the humidity.

I clean my clubs after every round with warm water and a club brush. I use the bronze bristled side on my cast clubs and I use the soft bristle side on my forged wedges, putter, hybrid and woods. Clean clubs are happy clubs.

I wipe them off after each shot if it's muddy out or when there are chunks of grass on them. I carry a little nylon bristle club brush in my pocket and brush them off after the shot or after they get wiped off. I always make sure the grooves are clear before I take any shot.

 

As far as a full cleaning, I do that every few rounds. If it's raining and I can't play, I usually clean the clubs and reorganize the whole bag.

I'm pretty obsessive as well. I clean during the round if the grooves get dirty w/ the wet end of my towel. After each round, I clean the grooves with dish soap and an old toothbrush. I clean the grips with a scouring pad and dish soap. My practice range has mats, so I also clean my clubs after each range session because the mat and balls leave a lot of residue on my clubs.

Does anyone else put a coat of wax on their woods? I wax mine(painted areas) about every 2 months during the season.

Wipe them down after every shot. Give them a warm bath every night. Sometimes before the kids get their bath sometimes after. If I'm pressed for time clubs and kids at the same time. (I'm not kidding. I've done it more than once)

Wipe them down as i play with them and fully clean them after ecerytime I use them, especially the grips. Most of the time I do not wear gloves so I like the grips to be as tacky as possible.

Wipe them down after every shot. Give them a warm bath every night. Sometimes before the kids get their bath sometimes after. If I'm pressed for time clubs and kids at the same time. (I'm not kidding. I've done it more than once)

I add a little simply green concentrate and water... a few seconds and the club is perfect.
