Making a custom putter cover

I’ve left it up to the pros from here. Delilah has made several headcovers for me since then.

Anyone have a recommendation for blank headcover that can be customized? Looking for a little better quality than the plastic ones on amazon.

I see this is an older thread and just wanted to comment that I have tried this before, a few times and I haven't gotten more than about half a year of usage each time. 

Maybe I'm to aggressive? or I'm not doing it the best way lol 😆.
More than about half geometry tutor near me online. I haven't gotten more than about half a year of usage each time. 

Anyway, I am new to this forum and saw this and it took me into a good memory lane, when I was doing it it was very disappointing each time, but now looking back at those days is a dream (health hasn't allowed me to go back to the field).

I’m trying out a synthetic leather cover from GolfIconic. I just ordered it 2 weeks ago and it supposedly takes 4 months to complete, so I’ll let you know the quality and durability at the end of the year…haha. Anyways, here is the design I sent them based on my Modulus Flea Bass. We shall see how it turns out.

This is a super interesting thread, I'm glad it got resurrected.
I'm considering having a custom cover made for my Newport Two.  I have a magnetic American flag cover that I bought at Edwin Watts down in Orlando, and the inside of this thing has some of the softest, finest cloth -- I can't for the life of me guess what it is, but it's black and it seems like it's always cool to the touch, almost like the inside of the cover is made from a Scotty oil cloth (except I doubt it's that).  I also can't interpret the logo on the tag -- it sort of just looks like a scribble -- so I can't call the company and ask.  Whatever it is, seems like it's the perfect material to store a Scotty in, so I want to get some for the inside of the cover I'm having made.

It's not lamb's wool and I don't want that.  I believe it may be a type of microfiber, I just don't know which type, nor its composition.  I'd like to avoid ordering the type that comes with Windex...

I figure if I'm going to do it once I ought to do it right, so ideally I'm looking for something that's good for German stainless steel.  Assumedly, if it's good for German, it's good for carbon.

Does anyone happen to know what best thing to use for the inside of a headcover is?

This is a good idea. I use this blue microfiber golf cloth sprayed with Ballistol to lube up my putters. This would probably be pretty good for the inside of a cover. The first putter I bought from David Mills came in a cover that smelled like WD-40. Like he sprayed the putter with WD-40 and stuck it in the cover. If you could find some kind of microfiber to accentuate that affect, you may just be onto something. 💡
